The baby was admitted directly after birth, for presumed sepsis and hyperbilirubinemia.  Any help on this would be much appreciated.

I am not proficient on newborn terminology and monitoring, plus sound quality sucks.  Would appreciate any help on this one!!


"Initially there was a little (s/l meck?) and he had some facial bruising and was rather plethoric on initial exam and was monitored every shift with (s/l TCB?).  On the second day he was found to have a 6-ounce weight loss and his (again, s/l TCB?) was 12.2."

doc does an anti-A antibody s/l "dilution" or "illusion"  or "allusion" which turned out positive.  Dilution would be my best guess but don't know if I'm correct.  Can someone give me the correct word?  thx!

It sounds like doc is clearly stating 0.5 mg, but I can't verify in my drug book or google.
