Local and MAC (monitored anesthesia care) are 2 types of anesthesia, so probably "Local/MAC" would be best. However, I don't think I have ever been dinged on QA for typing "Local MAC" with a space.

I have found 1 link to a CAIP unit on a Google search that was an abbreviation for a children and adolescent in-patient unit, but some of the patients they use this term with are not children or adolescents. I would do 60%. I have several doctors that will say 60 (as in ) 6-0. Clarifying the numbers so you don't put 16. They do 50, 5-0 so you don't put 15 because they sound close. It just sounds like sixty-six-zero. Put what you feel is right but I would be from experienc it is 60%
