NP states pt has multiple SKs (or escays?).  I am assuming it is SK as pt has seborrheic keratosis.  If I type verbatim should it be typed SKs?  Thanks.

Listen for sub-K instead. I think sub-K is a common abbreviation for seborrheic keratosis.

Subject: meds prescribed taken AC and HS see msg

Suddenly Im very confused - I have always typed it as taken at q.h.s. but now the doc says to be taken AC and HS.  Is this typed capital letters per my Abbreviations book or a.c. and h.s.?  I have the same problem with a.m. and p.m.   I assume there is a rule about this but not sure what the latest would be.  This is a new doc and I normally do not type meds so I am rusted. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like they are stating either "Zometa" or "someta" to be prescribed for insomnia.  I can't find anything on someta (or anything close to that spelling) and Zometa looks like it is for bone health and can cause insomnia but probably isn't prescribed to prevent insomnia.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!
