Subject: s/l Astatin due to poor response of Trichlor Niacin

This patient will possibly require the additional astatin due to poor response to the Trichlor and Niacin treatment and the fact that she has an active smoker status.

Subject: Neer response, near response?

Hello all.

Thanks in advance if you can help me.

I have a neurologist who says "near response" when referring to eyes.  Is it near?  Neer?  neer?

Also, is there a Neer's test in orthopedics?

I'm confused!!

It is sickle cell disease, and Alzheimer's disease, although with that stupid rule about the 's, it may be Alzheimer.

Sickel isn't even a word. I would bring these gripes to the attention of your supervisor. Maybe you have Indian QA?

The patient had removal of this aberrant eyelash from the lower lid in the following manner:

The eyelash was still within the eyelid itself.  I used magnifying glasses, as well as splinter forceps and was able to localized the eyelash and remove it from the lower lid.  The size of the eyelash was about 0.5 cm in size.  In fact, it appeared to be in an aberrant location of the other eyelashes itself.  I felt that this eyelash could actually have been relocated somehow to AN ERROR POOR?  The patient tolerated the procedure well, no complications.  The patient was given Ciloxan to be

I work for MedQuist and something similar happened to me. I somehow pushed the wrong combination of keys and my autocorrect became corrupted. I called tech support and they guided me through setting my computer back to a prior date and my expansions came back. Good luck! I was so relieved as I have thousands of reports saved, as well as even more of the usual shorter expansions.

Don't you just love these made-up words?! Medialmost, laboratorywise.

I would type medial most or medial-most (to make it a two-word adjective of the noun), as in medial-most position.

When they say "laboratorywise," etc., I change it to an appropriate caption, such as "Regarding laboratory data,"
