I always thought Chlamydia was capitalized and I've been a transcritionist for 12 years, so I don't know about any other seasoned transcriptionists, but this one finds things change.

Things did not change. You just have not been doing them correctly for "years". Genus names have always been capitalized.

the way I remembered this when first starting was the 2 T's. Mottled - spotted If you can replace "spotted" in the sentence and it makes sense.

Since there are so many different transcription platforms, you can't always program in the 1/2 symbol and typing it like that - 1/2 - is clumsy and can be unclear when read. The guidelines at my last in-house job were to convert it to decimal if possible.
