but I knew that one. You are correct in asking the poster check though.

Knowing what they were looking for or what the study was done for or what the findings were at the end, all of these might be clues pointing to what particularly they were checking.

What's the mg, or what is the medical history?

I came back on to read this post because I had given out the info on Lidoderm and wanted to see if the other word had been found. Then I saw LYDERM.

I have been reading the posts above. This "Kathie" person, with the bubble blowing gum head picture, seems to be giving out incorrect information. Hope she is not a QA person.

Example such as Caldwell-Luc thinking that would be for caudal vater syndrome????Where would you get that from?

That is too much guessing going on. If you don't
know, do not answer. Simple as that.

that is lidoderm patches, not lyderm.

most definitely the stages in Hep C are Roman numerals - ask any pathology department or lab department or any hepatologist.

Stage I is characterized by inflammation without the development of any scar tissue. Stage II features include inflammation with early scarring (fibrosis) in one zone (portal) of the liver. Stage III shows bridging of the fibrosis between adjacent portal tracts. Stage IV is cirrhosis (advanced scarring with loss of normal liver architecture). Stage of Disease Terminology Early stage, mild activity (1) Chronic Persistent Hepatitis C or Mild Chronic Active Hepatitis C Intermediate stage (II or III) Chronic Active Hepatitis C with Fibrosis Advanced stage (IV) Cirrhosis

the docs who refer to that report when dictating their own might repeat the same mistakes - it snowballs.

We didn't have enough info. Now we know how to answer.

Fluconazole comes as a tablet and a suspension (liquid) to take by mouth.

So the answer is that this medication could either be mg or ml (or mL), so your dictator misspoke meaning one of the two. If the child is an infant, I would suspect it was given as a liquid, so ml. And I have had MDs misspeak mm for ml before, but I wasn't going to say that until I was sure what drug we were talking about.

But I must say in 28 years of doing this work, I never heard them say HER negative......but I remember the days when I couldn't understand *HER2/neu* also when they dictated *lol* - thanks for the info......sincerely!

The first poster was obviously correct too. I don't know why it didn't come up with that when I searched it. It has just been one of those days.

You might want to check your word books under "technique" and see if you can find your term there.
