the use of the term "epi" vrs. epinephrine
Subject: the use of the term "epi" vrs. epinephrine

When a Dr. dictates the term "epi" in a report is it ok to type epi or would you type the whole word epinephrine .. it is an Operative report under Findings and Procedure. Is "epi" considered a slang term and not to be typed in a report?
Thanks for your help.
