than yours (or newer, or more of them), a cell phone with a big monthly bill, cable TV and eats out a lot more than your family does because of being just so ''busy.'' And I suppose that is also a mean observation to make - which I am sure will be pointed out to me in the next dozen posts. But I find those who are able to budget their money well are usually able to manage their time more effectively, too. Living hand-to-mouth, which may be a very temporary condition for some because of unforeseeable events, becomes a way of life for others. If the first solution that comes into your mind about changing the day you get your paycheck is, ''Now I'll have to get payday loans a couple of times a month'' something is seriously wrong with the way you're living. Spend less. Earn more. As a last resort sell some of your stuff at yard sales. But to hand over huge interest rates for short-term loans to tide you over on a regualr basis is....we... I can't really think of a word for it.

Okay, don't disappoint me. Everybody let me have it for saying this.
