I got mine back in maybe 2 days. They've been
running an ad so may be swamped.  I didn't take the position because I found out they offshore and what the recruiter told me and the team leader told me were 2 totally different things about the account they wanted me to work on.
I've been checking mine today
They seem pretty accurate, same as for the past +1 year.
This doesn't concern me, I've got mine! nm

I've got mine, too, sista, but whereas you care nothing except about yourself,
there are those of us here who understand what is happening in this forcing of being creditialed. You obviously don't have a clue, but that is generally the case with the me attitude so prevalent in today's world, an attitude you have displayed magnificently, BTW. I got my CMT because I WANTED to, not because I was FORCED to. Will being forced to be credentialed make you a better MT? NO. No more than being called an MD makes you a good or even excellent doctor. And boy, do we know some really stupid, careless, arrogant, physicians who ought to be in prison today instead of practicing medicine? Doesn't really make any difference that they have MD as a title, does it?
I've gotten several jobs through it
and from posting my resume.
I've worked 4 jobs before. I know what its like..
when money was tight, I got another job. (I had full-time MT job, waitressed at restaurant, bartended at a lounge, and cleaned and oversaw my apartment building) Did all that to move out of my parent's basement. That's how I am. Money's not so tight anymore because of BF, so now I have TIME to spend with my kids and I CAN appreciate that TIME because when I worked in-house, I didn't HAVE it. K. Enuf said.
It seems a reality. I've even seen jobs working every
xx
We have work. I've been in your shoes though with other jobs
They are screaming desperately, I get the job, and the second day of the job, there is no work so I sat there all afternoon twiddling my thumbs. By day 3, when I was told there was only 3 reports to do, I quit. Life's too short to waste my time and energy.
Sounds to me you've
been scammed, or either your trainer is just taking her time while pulling you around the nose, or they have decided against hiring you and are too lazy to tell you. I have never been done this way and hope I never will be. If I were you I would send an email saying you are sending the footpedal back and to forget it if you're too busy to train me. If no training w/in two days after that, actually send it back.
Sure sounds like we might've been

I've had 2 jobs in 4 hours today - getting frustrated. nm

I hate to say it, but it sounds like you've been

Sounds like you've got the documentation to
If nothing else, it might be enteraining making them squirm a bit. Hee.
You''ve got to be kidding. It sounds like they are looking for some suckers
to do a free month of work.  That is so ridiculous.  You just know at the end of the end they are going to tell you after all that work that it didn't pass because you didn't put a comma where it needed to be etc.. and how are you going to dispute any of it or get paid. There is no way in ###$#$# that I would work for a place like that. Sounds like a bad scam of some sort.
I've always heard if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. n/m

Please submit $29.99 with next payroll
We encourage AT&T, as you can get multiple lines for $29.99, but there are other companies that have come out with comparable prices. Then, fax the bill to Rochelle and submit it with the second payroll of the month. Thanks a lot, Liz
you are an SE, not an IC, so you don't submit invoice
Work period ends every other Friday and then you are paid the following Friday. They tally your lines and pay you according to it. You don't submit invoices. My pay has always been correct.
submit resume
I've submitted a resume many times without seeing a help wanted ad.  That's how I got the job with the last two companies that I have worked for.  I think most MTSOs are always looking for good candidates in case they get in a bind so you should submit your resume to as many companies as you can.
I have written articles. Where do you submit?
I am just getting started in following a lifelong desire to write.  Would like to submit to magazines, and journals.  Thanks!
What do you mean? Don't you have to submit a monthly schedule? sm
I have always had to submit a schedule and they expect you to adhere to it so I am not understanding what you are talking about.  Please post reply.  TIA
Meridian is flexible, you submit your
schedule weekly. Gross line count depends on many variables to consider if it is better. First, how long is a line, some places that pay gross line have very long lines, much longer than 65 characters. Of course, there are lines that may only be 3 or 4 words.
Didn't you hear the latest? They are wanting everyone to submit a name ...sm
change through the local chapters to be able to include everyone.

Who invited the Indians anyway???
please feel free to submit your resume and we can discuss all of the above/below :)

paid by direct deposit on time, and you submit the bill nm

Any comments or replies from MDTalkNet. Said they were too busy to answer questions, but to submit

Cherrypicking is when you work from a pool of jobs and being able to reject the worst jobs to those
,
I bet you 1 million $$ you won't find one on mine. Mine is
2 years old and it does not have a 9-pin serial port, nor does it have a game port.   I have used both ports on other computers so I know what both ports look like.  I also have a company provided computer and it does have the ports on it.
Monster Jobs and Career Builder usually have a few path jobs. nm

Oh! Transcriptions Ltd! The old TL
They used to be out of Southampton, PA, and I worked for them. Know what happened? They merged with MedQuist. TL was the big gun in the merge, but they were getting a bad reputation, so they kept the MQ name rather than the TL name. So whatever happened to Transcription Ltd? They became MedQuist... or MQ became TL, however you'd like to view it.
As for Transcription Unlimited, I'm not familiar with them.
rc transcriptions
Do you mean the one in San Antonio, Texas?
Don't think any do except for those in-house jobs. Some QA jobs are paid hourly. nm

They didn't take our jobs, QT gave them our jobs. The account is now
back in the hands of US MTs, or will be in just a couple of weeks.

Work with ANP Transcriptions
Dear Siren,

We are seeking highly qualified experienced medical transcriptionists to handle the increased workload. We are ramping up for a very busy season and with that we are structuring our staff to handle the new volume of work.

Transcriptionists must be highly proficient and experienced transcriptionists. Only transcriptionists with experience transcribing from digital files will be hired. Please indicate your years of transcription experience and your current WPM. Please-No beginners, no students- you will not receive a response.

We prefer transcriptionists who can transcribe from digital video files as well as digital audio files. (MP4, MOV, WMV, RM) using the StartStop Transcription system. If you use a different system please state which one you use.

The bulk of our work has a 24-48 hour turnaround. The ideal Transcriptionist can turnaround an average of 1.5 recorded audio hours per day.

After 5+ years of providing successful and reliable transcription services in advertising, government, legal, and medical professions, we are again strengthening our pool of transcriptionists, within the medical field. We have created a solid base of clients, which consists mainly of medical communication companies. These companies host conferences for doctors and pharmaceutical companies who are usually discussing a specific medical study or attempting to bring a new drug to market. Since medical content can be difficult and keynote speakers are usually from all over the world, we seek talented transcriptionists who have dealt with this type of material before.

We are a fast paced, New York based company where accuracy and efficiency is of utmost importance. We are seeking transcriptionists who we can turn to with confidence when a tight deadline is looming and high-quality work is required. This is the concept that helps make us a strong competitor in the transcription services market.

If you feel you are an experienced medical transcriptionist who is seeking steady work in an environment of a successful growing company, please submit your info.

Please note: It is necessary that you have high speed Internet and software and foot pedal capable of playing and transcribing from mp3s.

Please email all relevant data and resume to careers@anptranscriptions.com
