but, I found out because I work for a hospital that uses the DQS platform, which is great to use as a transcriptionist, but there is a management program that allows them to count or not count anything they want including spaces, headers, footers or even any character they choose. I have seen it. They also can use whatever divisor they use. So, if they tell you they're paying you 9 cpl or even 50 cpl, it doesn't matter if you REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW THEY'RE COUNTING THEM. I don't even work for them anymore, but I work for a hospital that uses just the program and my pay has gone down 35% because our hospital decided that the "trend" was to not count spaces!!!!!
