I do not know where you work. I work independent but also work the same hours all the time. I talked to the place where I worked before about being an employee as compared to independent. My pay would be reduced 2 cents for each line. Now that does not seem like much, but then it would be 6 for straight and 2 cents for VR, with the majority of mine being VR. I continued on with independent, do not mind working this way. I think personally you are going to be without a job if you continue with this and not only that, if other companies for whatever reason catch wind of your doing this, do you think anyone will want to hire you? I do not mind being called independent and do not mind working set hrs. My job leaves me alone and pay on time. Not all independents are unhappy.
