Im venting but it seems to me that we as MTs go from having our computers to having companies come in and muck things up one of the reasons that I have been an IC and not an employee but even as an IC, I have needed to be on various instant message programs etc -- to me, that smells of big brother and techs have screwed MY computer which I own, up ROYALLY -- These companies say IC, but then expect a schedule or hours when you are going to work -- that smacks of employee and NOT an IC. I have had 3 companies recently put THEIR software on my computer -- the tech telling me putting you on hold and with one company all of a sudden, it's to Bangalore -- I have EVERYTHING on my computer, up to date and HIPPA compliant and really resent the fact that all of a sudden someone comes in and changes programs to where they don't work or working for 2 services and A conflicts with B --Yes, I am angry right now, but this is the way of the world
