They are outsourcing to the Philippines faster than the Q is going to India. They have just contracted with CBay to outsource more work from the Q and CBay for them to the Philippines and it is supposed to increase drastically over the next 2 years. I was with CyMed. When they were bought by SPi, I hated my job for the last 2 years. Lost account after account and had 6 account managers in the last 2 years. Pay is so/so. Benefits are good and PTO is good, but there is not steady work. Year before last they let 140 people go in 1 week. I was let go after losing so many accounts and after we had trained them to take over our large account and offshore it. They use Chartnet which is great but everything I read written about the Q is the same thing going on at SPi. You move from account to account and when there is no work you have to clock out and make up the time, sometimes impossible. They will also change your shift for you. I would say it is not really secure employment, which I needed.
