Does KS pay an evening differential?

And if so, what time does it start?  Would those who work a split qualify for a differential? Or,  if you start early in the day then runs into the evening.

When I worked there you got weekend differential and even higher holiday differential
and neither were required and no pressure to work and usually there was not much work as the extra pay made the MTs come crawling out of the woodwork!
LOL! You made my evening. So

I think it's 0.025 each for evening, night

Sorry, I was told before to try back of an evening when we run out during the day. (sm)
Didn't mean to step on toes. Heck, as long as they won't fire me for it I will gladly just take the time off.
I believe they are flexible, but probably some evening hours and

Rambling evening thout
With technology available today why are MTSOs and offshoring even necessary?. Why not cut out the unnecessary costs of the suits and contract directly with MTs with one co-ordinator or MT supervisor in each facility? A good place to save a lot of money per the health care reform IMHO. Not sure this will even post as I'm using my new handy dandy blackberry but I would like to say more on this subject.
Goodnight Lee. I hope the remainder of your evening

Wondering, too. Their ad here for Rad is for the evening shift at 1.31 per exam. nm

The case for weekend and evening incentive pay ~
I believe in incentive pay for covering weekends, evenings and holidays. It seems there is always a demand for these duty periods. Yet some companies do NOT offer incentive pay and I would like to hear appropriate reasonings why they SHOULD. After all, we are giving up our precious, coveted time for their obviously hard-to-cover time slots!

Other than the obvious reasons of weekends and evenings being the only time when a majority families/individuals can relax and recreate, what are other sound reasonings for companies to pay more for these shifts. Thanks for responding!

I was offered 8.5 cpl for acute care, evening shift. Way too low for a very

My account has had plenty, but just looked a the evening count and...sm
I see where several are low, real low.  I am not sure what is going on.  Odd.  They did have an ad a little while back.  Hope they did not overhire again.
I didn't sign up to work Thanksgiving, but I will in the evening for a while at least. I heard s
that so many MTs want to work the morning hours that there will be almost no MTs to cover any evening work. I heard like only about 1.2 MTs per account. If there is work, I'll have it to be sure.
Is the work flow pretty steady on the evening shift

CMT Pay Differential?
Does anyone know of any MTSOs who actually offer a pay differential for CMT status?  (Particularly part-timers and/or IC).  TIA

shift differential
i have been asking about a shift differential for over 2 years now as i mainly work in the evenings. it's like everything else with them they are in no hurry when it's something that benefits the MT.
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
Webmedx pays shift differentials :)
What about shift differential?
My company does require a time sheet, but I think it's partly so they can pay your actual shift differential.

Does Keystrokes pay more for later hours?
No shift differential, but.......
Their pay rate is a little higher than most companies, and it is really easy to get a good line count there. I do anywhere between 2000-3000 lines a shift, so I am very happy and find that I don't even need a shift differential to make great money.
What is the avg cpl of 3rd shift differential?...
...seems like when I did third shift before for an MTSO the cpl differential was 0.005 or something like that.  Any info is most appreciated.
shift differential
I get 1 cent per line for 3rd shift.
How about the weekend differential?
Does it bother anyone else that the new way they pay that seems to pretty much exclude everyone from getting it? Or at least so far I can't get it. They took me from a M-F shift and made me take a weekend day, which I complied with, thinking that at least I'd get the differential. Then two weeks later, they changed it to needing to work, and make your line counts, for those days. I don't know about all the other accounts, but my account usually just trickles in on weekends, and when all the transcriptionists get on there trying to make up lines or try to get the shift differential, there is no way that I am going to get my ever-harder-to-achieve line count. I'm looking at that green grass on the other side of the fence, and I've got to admit it looks pretty tasty.
shift differential
I think what the part about shift differential means that basically you do get one, but instead of it being some bonus tacked on it's automatically in your line rate, so maybe they'd offer you 8 cpl for the day shift but 8.5 for the night shift.
Which companies pay most for 3rd shift differential?
Need to make more per line.  I'm going to the highest bidder.  I have 27 years of medical transcription experience under my belt, and very quality oriented and produce 2000 lines per day.   Any bidders?
I would like to see pay differential based on YOE or quality. sm
One company i worked for would bump us up a 0.01 in pay if we got over 1700 lines a day. really good incentive for me as i didn't stop til i hit that as it was my goal. shift differential for nights/weekends/holidays.

would love a step ladder for wages, say 1-yr exp make so and so, 5-yr exp so and so, etc. more pay for harder dictators. the dictators could be rated on a scale. this would help eliminate some cherrypicking as those who wanted ESLs for higher pay could have them.

shift differential calculations
Not hard at all, I work all 3 shifts at times, so when I start second shift, I total those before going into 3rd.

We get a differential at the hospital I work for
If half your hours or more are worked after 3 p.m., you get $1.50/h extra (we get paid hourly).  I work 10:30-7 (with half hour lunch) in order to get the differential.
shift and weekend differential - sm
Not sure why YOU didn't get this differential, but I DID - no longer though. Just goes to show how many different pay brackets there are at Transcend. So, just because your ROM doesn't know about the pay cut doesn't mean it isn't coming. I got my call last week - some are only getting them now. I hope you don't get it, but forewarned is forearmed.

Not MDI, but where I work, no weekend differential, no holiday pay...
I HATE it. I've been looking for a job out of MT for a year - nothing. Your schedule includes one weekend day, and if a holiday falls on your regularly scheduled work day, TS - you get your normal line rate.
I worked for them as an IC at 9 cpl with nice weekend differential - I don't think they have bene
