EMR & what it will do to MT's

SOOOOO, what is everyone's thoughts on the EMR systems and how it will help/hurt/destroy MTs? I was speaking with someone just today that is an office manager and informed me that if the docs do not take the government up on this then by 2012 they will start being penalized by a drop of pay for their Medicare/Medicaid pt's? Just would like to get a feel for what everyone thinks? Are we all going to be out of jobs?
