I think it happened on February 1st. I stopped getting work on that day, but nobody mentioned a word to me. Is this strange or what?

I believe they have until February 2
which I never understood how it got extended in the first place to the end of January. what if you owe taxes? It means you only have until April 15 to pay.

this is from the IRS website:

The first quarter of a calendar year is made up of January, February, and March.

During January:
All employers. Give your employees their copies of Form W-2 for 2008 by February 2, 2009. If an employee agreed to receive Form W-2 electronically, post it on a website accessible to the employee and notify the employee of the posting by February 2.

Been working for them since February
She is great to work for, pays once a week, always on time. IC status.
FYI - Page from February
Just bringing to your attention that the link leads to a page that has not been updated since February, 2008.  A lot has changed since then and the productivity figures for editing have decreased, more closely equaling the transcription numbers.
ADP/ MW, yes, but not effective till February.

I cannot answer for February of 2005.

I was not employed there then.  I have been there a little over 2 years.  I can say when I started at Axolotl there were maybe 10 to 15 acute care MTs.  We have more than doubled in size since then.  I do know that if we had work outsourced to other companies, we would not have the amount of work to transcribe that is always here.

Axolotl is also an EMR provider and if you go to their website you can read all about that area of their business.

In my 15 years of being a trancriptionist, I have never found a better company to work for and this is why:

1.  They treat their MTs like they should be treated.

2.  They compensate MTs the way they should be compensated.

3.  The platform is great.

4.  We do not run out of work and they do not overhire.

5.  They offer great benefits.

6.  Great management and editors.

After reading so many horror stories on this site about some of the nightmares other MTs have gone through with other companies, plus the fact I have had a few myself, I am BLESSED to find such a great company.

Was a reference posted in February by an MTSO that it
search by key word _flying monkies_ and read the responses.
