J (QA specialist) is still there.  They have many other accounts, so they are still in business.  I was just lucky I had kept my other job which I almost let go, but then they hired too many QAs and the work was getting less and less, so I decided to keep my other job.  I had a nasty feeling something was going on and I was right.  They did not have HR when I was first hired, she was also hired when they went through the hiring frenzy.  Good luck if you stay with them, but watch your back.
