That made me laugh (with you not at you or her) . . . Like anything else, the directions are there for a reason . . I had to get more self-discipline and realize that . . So far so good for me, but a week not enough time yet to give it total thumbs up, but am impressed by what I have seen in other people, so that's enough reason to keep me motivated . . I'm definitely entering the business side of it also, time to start weaning away from transcription after 30+ years, getting burnt out . . Email me,anyone, if you want more info.
chuckle, chuckle

You said:

We as MTs will never be recognized for the hard work we do and the conditions we do it under.

The conditions we do it under? I'm sitting here in my sweats and slippers, intermittently doing the laundry, eating a banana in the comfort of my own home office. I don't think many of us at home are suffering!

I know that may not be what you meant, but it made me smile.
For crying out loud
Why would you wait for weeks - are you new to this industry?

This is COMMON practice and I don't care how big or small the company is... Many are just advertising for clients they HOPE to get soon - many are poorly organized and/or UNDERstaffed for administrative purposes.

Make it a rule to apply for MANY jobs at once; you'll be lucky if two are hits and then you can choose the best fit for you.

Always ask up front: Do you tie payment for work done to payment received by your client?

Is this opening immediate or for the future?

If you ask the right questions up front and they don't perform, start sending more resumes ASAP.

Take it from someone who learned the hard way.

You're the one who came here crying.
Boohoo, poor you, aren't making enough money at $21/hour. I can understand you not wanting to read this crap. You're not even happy getting $21/hour to read crap, so reading this for free must be doubly painful. Enjoy your box.
I have to chuckle, you sound just sm
like that commercial with the guy having it all with his country club, pool, etc, and says just the same exact thing you did.  I'm not laughing at you, believe me, I am laughing with you. I do feel for you. Been there done that more than once, in debt up to my eyeballs. Yes, I do think at times the schools tend to pump you up with $$$ signs and it really isn't fair to the student to be given amounts that high.  I only make around that myself, probably less, working for a national. Lucky for me, I have a husband who does very well. Not everyone has that advantage.  Could you possibly pick up a local account to work on the side to help with your finances? It could lead to something better.  Just a thought.  Take care and good luck.
Thanks for the chuckle. That was good.

makes me chuckle...
When I get my pay summary with the actual stamp. Just one in a long line of things coming from what appears to be a very disorganized company.
Another good chuckle.
Something sure does have her drawers in an uproar. Signing on with TTD and taking a 75% pay cut sounds like as good a reason as any.
Thanks for the chuckle. First time
I've posted on this forum and thought I had put my 2 cents in the wrong place.
I'm crying over here laughing so hard
no message so you don't have to bother looking inside the post. I thought same thing when I first got here...thought boy is this NM lady annoying. LOL!
My accounts are crying for overtime. What's up I wonder? NM

Sharing a chuckle from my granddaughter
She's 7 years old, in Texas.  I talked to her last night and told her that I was quitting working.  She asked me if I got another job.  I said no, that I was going to be retard unless I missed working too much after all these years and she said, Meme, which would you rather do, work or get free money like Pawpaw?  Free money. LOL  She was talking about Pawpaw when she went to the P. O. with him and picked up his retirement check.  He took it to the bank and she asked him how come he got a check when he doesn't work.  He told her he was retired and that was the money he got from his retirement.  Free money!
lol, lol, gave me a chuckle, too funny!....nm

Nice holiday spirit. For crying out loud.....
This is still a democratic country, is it not? Why is it that if people don't agree with YOU or the bandwagon cheerleaders for a company, they get bashed? I worked at TT and found it to match all of the complaints that are read on here. That doesn't mean it's not a good company - just not a good company for ME (and others, by the way). CHILL..................
And stop buying foreign cars for crying out loud. sm
Look at the 10s of thousands of workers who are being laid off from GM and Ford after giving decades of their lives.  Thanks to all you people who buy foreign cars.
Get off your high horse for crying out loud. She did not mention that it was a transcription company

Maybe YOU should do some research before you jump all over somebody. WHen a person just mentions a name, it doesn't necessarily mean a transcription company.

I guess you live in a vacuum! Search this board, for crying outloud! SM

A couple of weeks ago there were several former JLG employees posting how they were fired from doing SR and were not even offered MT positions!  I'm not trying to hide anything and I don't appreciate you insinuating I'm a liar!
