Excellent pay and benefits. PTO is better than most companies. They match our 401-K. I like my account and my TL.

Feel free to e-mail me for more information.

I worked for a temp agency for 3 years..LOVED it. Just worked. No counts, no hassels, GREAT pay..
No benefits at the time.  I even learned pathology while temping (8 months on that assigment).  I loved the variety, the ability to say I'm not available such and such time.  I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I didn't need benefits.
Not Intermountain, but one place I worked for years ago sm
had a gimmick where if there were a blank or two in a report, a comma somewhere where where they did not think it belonged, a sentence transcribed in a tense they did not like, they called it a junk chart and would not pay the MT for the report. With that along with constant and nasty mails they regularly had mass exoduses.. It's the only time in 17 years in this field that I finally had a belly full one day and just up and quit with no notice, no anything, just quit.
Haven't found a great place yet . . ., was with last company three years.
Just new this internet thing.
I worked for them several years ago and they were great but
I've seen postings that they use outdated equipment and programs that make it difficult to keep up with a decent line count.

But when I worked there I was very happy.
Worked for them years ag. GREAT people to work for. nm
.
It's a great place...sm

It really depends on what you are looking for in a company.  This is a very different company to work for.  For example, you don't work in pools, you are not constantly being bumped around, and there always has been plenty of work, even around holidays where everyone else is fighting for work because there is none.  I was so shocked that after Christmas there wasn't a major slow-down.  It's mostly clinic accounts, so you if your work is caught up, you don't have to work holidays.  There is no deciding which holiday you want off or which you have to work because if you just do your work, you get off.  Of course, if you want to work the holiday, there is always something to work on if you speak up.

Anyway, I have worked for just about all of the nationals.  I have been with Wordzxpressed for over a year now and plan on staying.

You know what-OSI seems like a great place to me, but - sm
i have over 10 years experience and they offered me 7 cents a line to start!!  That is quite low for someone with the experience that I have.  A starting rate of 9 cents a line would win me right over.  I wonder why there is such a difference?  Makes you wonder.  well, if something has changed since I was offered a position, within the last 6 months, let us hear about it.  TIA
TP- Great place
Great place to work, especially as an IC. You work, you get paid, just like things are supposed to work out. Support if you want/need it, no nagging.
Great place to work!
I came to Phoenix after having worked at the 2 large nationals over the past 4 years. I'm SO glad! The do not pay for spaces but the headers/footers more than make up for that. The work is steady, same account (or accounts) and never runs out. The staff are great to work with, helpful and very thoughtful. Great place to work!
Great place to work
Wonderful people, great software, sound quality excellent, benefits affordable, don't really noticed the ESLs, maybe because I'm used to them, or maybe depends on the account.  Pay average.
Great place to work
This is Documed in New Jersey that I am talking about.  I have said this before on MT Stars, but I absolutely love this company.  Been with them for almost 2 years and I can't say enough good things about them.  The management is fantastic.  The office staff is wonderful.  They are very helpful with any problems you may have.  Pay has never been late.  Hope this helps.
They are a great place to work..sm

I have been there nearly 4 years now. The staff is very professional and accommodating.  My schedule is flexible though there is a 24-hour TAT, but you can work the hours you want for the most part, at least on my account.  Pay is always on time, the platform easy, and I rarely hear from QA. So all things considered, I would certainly encourage you to give them a try!

Great place to work
I have been there for about 4 months. I love it there. Everybody there is great. I have an awesome account as well as a backup account. I plan on staying there for a long time. I don't know if they are currently hiring or not. Good luck!
Sounds like a great place, but I wish they
straightened out that I have been reading about here for months and offer some PTO the first year. Everybody needs at least a day or two for illness, child illness, or just some R and R within a year's time. Also wish they hired part time to start out. Oh well, maybe someday as it does sound like a good place to try out.
GREAT place to work

I have worked for MANY companies, and this is the best one I have come across, HANDS DOWN!!!!  You are actually treated like a PERSON.  The communication there is GREAT!  It might not be the biggest, but I believe it's the BEST!  : - )

I do...It's a great place to work...SM
Everyone is very nice and helpful and there is never a shortage of work!
All I know is, when you find a great place, let me know,
I WANNA LEAVE THE Q ALSO, JUST TOO AFRAID.   I think they made me crazy....
great place to network
I love it!
Honestly, MQ is a great place to work!
I did work for Spheris before they were called EDIX, and I've worked for a couple of other nationals and MQ is by far the best! The grass isn't greener on the other side, believe me. MQ is the most advanced technilogically. If you don't want to feel like you are going backwards with technology, go give MQ a try. I work out of the Dallas office and the communication with my supervisor, other supervisors, upper management, other co-workers...is EXCELLENT. I love it. I would say at least give it a try before listening and taking the advice of anyone reporting a bad experience. All offices are not the same.
Thomas Trans was a great place
to work.  I worked very closely with Dee and she always went out of her way for me.  Negatives:  No direct deposit, checks always ran late and ran out of work quite a bit.
TT is a great place to work for. It is not that hard to
reach and maintain a decent line count. Incentives are fair and not to hard to reach. ExText is the best platform, at least in my 18 year experience. Great people, tons of work and the ESL percentage is about 20-25%.
I have to agree -- truly a great place to work. sm

There is always a learning curve anywhere, of course, but wiithin just a short time, my production was the same with TT as anywhere else.  The benefits are pretty good, insurance affordable, and as an added bonus, the people there truly care about their employees.   After 30+ years of transcribing, I feel like I finally found my home.

Definitely great place to work, 2 year
anniversary coming up and I still love my job.
Ditto...It's a great place to work (nm)

Sounds like you work at a great place
That seems like a much more reasonable line rate for VR, 0.065 - correct.  A lot better than the 0.03 0 0.045 that most offer.  Would it be okay to ask who you work for?
2 years for me - Best place ever.
nm
The best place I have worked
nm
Yep! Every place I ever worked for except

for the place I'm working for now.  My very first job right out of school was for a woman who owned her own company, and she had a son and a niece working for her.  The niece did more than her fair share, and in fact we became good friends after our dogs started having play dates together on our days off.  Her son, on the other hand, did all the easy psych work with all the templates and then went on to steal the ER work (also only docs with templates), and surpise... he always had the highest line counts of anyone.  Those were the days also when we got paid for headers and footers, patient info, everything, so he was making out like a bandit.

Also worked for MQ in-house when they had an office here close to my home.  Some people sat there and typed the hardest account we had all day, every day and barely made their minimum lines, and there was this one person who would type nothing but ER notes that had very long templates and ended up being an average of 3 pages each.  Then she had the nerve to brag about how big her checks were with all her bonuses and incentive.  I got a chance to type those two days in a row and I made 1400 lines a day more than I usually did on my main account.

I say share the fortune, be it good or bad.  The sooner we all get the bad work out, the sooner we can all get to the good work and start making money.  I also had one supervisor tell me that I do the harder work because I make more cpl, but hey, if you are sitting there typing easy stuff all day and using templates, you are making more money in the long run.

Because TT is not the only place I worked before, even
the hospital I worked for experienced lots of low work around the holidays.
I have worked now for the same place
for years and years and like you, when we had close to 50 inhouse MTs we never ran out of work, never and now it seems to be at least once a month type situation. I really do not feel like ours is sent overseas and the reason I said this is when inhouse some tried to be sent and the physicians were really upset and brought back then to Americans MTs. I can now afford to take off a day or 2 here and there but years ago I HAD to work, at least 2 jobs then to make a living and like I said (and you might know) the money then was very good. I now think about my other coworkers possibly being in the same financial situation as I was once and if we are low/run out I will just tell my company I will take off that day. Now that is not saying I want to do every day or week but to let others who might need it really bad I can do that. I have no idea what the answer is to this because it seems to be wide spread. We ran out this past week and now on this wkend all kinds of work to do if we want - but with all the ESLs gosh I just do not want to put up with them when I don’t have to (today is off day for me).
Great place to work - give 'em a try!
:)

I'm with you - best place I've ever worked. sm
I can't believe anyone is running out of work within the company (except for this week of lower account volumes). Goes to show that there are at least two sides to every story!
They are the least micromanaging place I have ever worked for.
nm
have either you or Annie worked for either place?
nm
I'd go with Keystrokes. The best place I have EVER worked for!!
x
Worst place I ever worked. Much of the same
info in the archives.  There is a reason they are constantly hiring and new accounts isn't one of them.
I definitely want to work.. but not for them. I have found great place to call home where you get..
what you are promised as far as work, pay, and the communication is excellent. MDI-FL should take a few lessons from some of these other companies and you'd have more happy employees. There are far too many team leaders and management out there trying to save face for MDI..obviously.. The rave reviews are NOT from the MTs trying to work for a living.
Left MQ after 10 years for Webmedx, a better place. nm

I worked on site for many years. I've been doing this for 10 years... sm
I've worked on site, at home, for small MTSOs, for nationals, for hospitals. I've been paid per line, per minute, and per hour. I've been an MT and a QA. I have ALWAYS worked weekends and ALWAYS worked nights for the shift differential because MTs can't survive on 6 or 7 cents a line. At least I can't and I type 105 wpm.

I've BEEN dedicated from day 1, sister, so you are barking up the wrong tree.
Great pay, great benefits for 11+ years..sm
I've just started with this great company (eMTS).  I have 11+ years of experience and I was started at .10 per line as a regular employee, not IC, with a huge sign-on bonus, full benefits, very nice people, and a good account.  So far, this is the best experience I've had in my years as a transcriptionist.  Unfortunately, I don't believe they're hiring more right now, but you could always check in with them, they're online at eMTS.com.  The management seems to really care and they work with you.
That happened to me at the first place I worked in house. -sm
I had to call them after a month of waiting for my last paycheck. They said they were waiting for me to come down and get it. Can you believe that? They finally put it in the mail.
I worked for a place that had antiquated software before, so (sm)
ExText seems great to me, and no I am not management.
I once worked in place where we were treated like dirt - sm
365 days a year, INCLUDING during MT week. Yeh, they gave us trinkets or sometimes a pizza party, but still jumped on our @$$es as soon as the party was over, about how far behind we'd fallen on our work. I'd rather get NO trinkets, NO week, and no public recognition, and simply a decent living wage and a little professionaal respect.
