They are obviously clueless...
They should know that the quality of the work will suffer because MTs can't keep all of the different account specifics straight...I know I can't. I'm sure that several people will leave, because this is ridiculous. I wonder when the next email will come announcing yet another new account being added to our pools...could come at any time.

These are the most rude bunch of folks ever...and they seem to know nothing about transcription.
nothing? you are clueless- sm
why do they need more US MTs when all the work is going elsewhere.

no more international MTs = more US MTs getting hired.

Has everything to do with international.
I've seen MW QA, and 90% are clueless, yet think they know ALL. nm

You must enjoy being clueless....
Didn't get your paycheck?  Why not contact your employer?  How's that for rude !
Another clueless offshore MTSO. Perhaps sm
he should advertise in Woman's Day, Good Housekeeping, etc., if he wants to attract housewives!
I agree. Believe it or not, there are many doctors who are clueless as to where...
their dictation is being sent or dictated. I had a large group practice in the past who had branches throughout a particular part of the U.S., so I only did two of their offices. A large national (will not give the name) did the transcriptions for the remainder of the branches. I knew for several years this company outsourced work to India. This company advertised their headquarters in the U.S. to snag the physician client with a great line rate. I kept my mouth shut as I did not want to be legally liable for anything I said about this particular company. It took the practice manager of this physician group three years to learn their work was going overseas (sure it was coming back through an internet service to the so called U.S. headquarters of this company. This physician group eventually dumped this transcription company. It is so easy for these Indian owned companies who advertise as being U.S. based to get away with sending work overseas. It's called the internet
I resent being called clueless. If you don't work at

Precyse, don't attack me or the company.  We're all trying to survive in this market.

Feeling clueless in regard to MT platforms such as Extext, etc. sm
I have always worked with MS Word and WordPerfect. Had my own clients for many years, as well as working for MTSO as an IC. I have never worked on a transcription platform such Extext or any of the other common platforms. I am well versed in working digitally with FTP, TASP, etc. I currently work for a service and continue to work strictly in MS Word and FTP transfer. I worry about this lack of experience with these platforms What can I do to educate myself in the event I choose to go with a large national who uses a MT platform? Quite honestly, I have never even used a shortcut program other than auto correct in MS Word because I have very, very few repetitive dictations, as I type many different specialties and doctors, who each has their own style and format required (mainly teaching and research hospital) Thanks for any ideas.
