It will get better (SM)

I've been with MDI-MD for several months, and at first I thought I would sink quicker than the Titanic even though I've 15+ years experience.

It DOES get easier. If you're working on the Bayscribe platform on one of the Lanier accounts, you'll get used to them. The Lanier accounts don't allow for cherrypicking (as far as I know). Sometimes I feel like I get one horrid ESL after another, but in the end, it made me more comfortable with these dictators and now I breeze through them. Also, right about the time I'm ready to bang my head into the wall, I'll get an extremely lengthy report by a FABULOUS dictator, where I can actually relax and just enjoy transcribing.

MDI-MD is a great company to work for. I urge you to not be so hard on yourself and let things progress naturally. Before long, you'll see you are up to your usual line count (I get my 1200 lines in about 5 hours now, which initially I thought would never happen).

Stop beating yourself up. Look at it this way...MDI-MD is extremely particular about who they hire. If they didn't have confidence in your abilities, trust me when I say you never would have made the cut.

MDI knows you can do the job, so keep reminding yourself that you can do it, too!!!

Feel free to email me if you need some more moral support :-)
