but there were no patient identifiers whatsoever, just that someone on the other side of the country had an illness. I have been in several different hospitals and doctor’s offices where worse violations took place. For example, docs discussing patients in the hallway where all could hear, charts turned up so all can see, receptionists calling people by name and saying that the doc won’t give them their OB care because they are on Medicaid and I can go on and on.
