who is sick of being abused after twenty years experience and education and investment of money, only to have my wages lowered to less than minimum wage because of these kinds of wages being offered. Of course you can do what you want to do, that is your business. I was making a statement that the only ones who should be hurt by these offers are the ones making them. This is not a livable wage, not to me anyway. It takes time to do difficult dictation, ESLs, look up new terms constantly, and is much more valuable than that offer. I made no personal attack, only pointed out that even 6 cents, being an IC, would average out to very low. It was a general statement, if you wish to work for that, go for it, encourage them to keep it up. MTSOs who do not have to pay any taxes for us, no equipment charges, etc., and a pay offer that lowl, what a deal for them!
