Okay, so this has gone way beyond what the OP

was meaning but here is my take on it since everyone else has added theirs, lol ...  How can it be considered discrimination to require you to take a hearing test for a position that requires your hearing?  If that is considered discrimination then I need to apply as an attorney and when they deny me the position, I can sue them  because I do not have the abilities (education) needed to do the job.  Am I being too simple about this?
