I know that what I made last year is not typical (I detect a note of disbelief in your post, and you're entitled to that - I don't take it personally), but the reason I felt I should post is because it is possible to make decent money, even working for one of the much-maligned nationals. Yes, I think I may have caught on faster than most for reasons I won't go into here, but I've also been unusually lucky -I've been on the same account which rarely runs out of work since I started almost 3 years ago, so I know it inside and out and am able to really produce on it. I know I can't count on the fact that I will make that kind of money every year. But people can and do under the right circumstances, and I felt it should be posted.
