encouragement. I am planning on moving on this year. I am just waiting to get closer to that magical two year mark. It is surprising what a difference one year and a few months has made. I am certainly a much better MT today than I was when I first started, so this experience hasn't really been all bad. I think I just need to find the right company now.

Well said! Your insight on the situation is excellent. I am from the old school here, and hate to see the way the language is being butchered in the name of profits. Verbatim is simply unnerving. This space issue is just another irritant. I worked legal for years, and was accustomed to articulate dictators. Now, several years of medical transcribing is really wearing on my nerves. Isn't $30,000 pretty hard to achieve for any of the newer MTs? There is just so much to learn and too many radical changes being made to accommodate profit-slurping shareholders off the backs of the unsuspecting newer MTs entering into the field, and those of us who have been around for a while.
