Does anyone have any kind of guestimate as to how many MDI MTs have left since announcement of the merger?

My fellow MDIers
I feel your pain. Yesterday I got exactly half of my lines. I can't feed my family this way. What to do, what to do? I totally love MDI but 50% of my lines doesn't pay a California mortage. I wish they would give us some timeline as to when the work will be normal again.
Question for MDIers
Has the work shortage problem been resolved?
My fellow MDIers
Is anyone else still sad about the demise of the MDI as we knew it?  It seems to me that the last bastion of integrity and respect for MTs kind of fell apart.  How do you all feel after these several weeks have passed?
Question for MDIers
Maybe I am just in a bad mood this morning, but I received an e-mail from management that really irked me.  Anyone else tired of being asked to change their schedule to cover nights and weekends.  I already cover a weekend day.  I really am not inclined to give up more family time for a company that will not even tell me how much money I will be making Jan 1 or what my schedule will be.  Maybe if MDI payed weekend incentive like other companies, I would be willing to do more.
Yep, I think MDIers are gonna get it
This whole thing is right out of the MQ playbook. Get ready to get hit!
You MDIers are certainly better paid
than most people who signed on with Transcend directly.  I guess they value you more. Having 30 years experience myself, they pay me much less for acute care.  And Transcend offered me more than other companies.   So, congrats.  While I am not making the money, it is nice to see another MT who is.  Better you than the suits.
MDIers paid better
Well I am not being paid as much as you MDIers will be and I am at the top of Transcend's payscale.  I will be asking for a raise. You cannot pay new people to the company more than the people who have been working for you for years, that just is not right.  I gotta get out of this profession.
For MDIers re: email from owner
I'm not going to post the email here from the owner that came over today, but if you work for MDI you know what I'm talking about.  Any thoughts as to what this means for MTs specifically?
Question for fellow MDIers

Are any of you getting work today? I have been babysitting my screen for seven hours now and have had five short jobs all day.  Does anyone know what is going on?

Question for my fellow MDIers
We went for weeks with insufficient work so I took on a side-job, which has been reliable and plentiful.  Now my previously-empty MDI accounts seem to be overflowing and MDI wants extra work.  Has this happened to any of you?  What did you do?  I want to be loyal to MDI but, given that there was low work for so long, I am inclined to keep the other job as well just as a backup in these economic times.  Of course, I will always do the required lines at MDI but I am at a point where I am now afraid to put all of my eggs in one basket.  What do other people think?  I just feel more confident having two sources of income rather than one alone.  Is my thinking wrong here?  I'd really appreciate some feedback as I think I am too close to the situation to see things clearly.
Question for my fellow MDIers
Just curious, is your situation getting better?  I have been sitting here for four hours and have done 300 lines and my account just ran dry.  What are you doing about your situation?  I do NOT want us to bash MDI, am just looking for some positive suggestions as to how others are handling this dry period.   Let's exchange ideas and keep it positive.  I am not encouraging a bash MDI session, just looking for some solutions.  I do not want to leave because I love MDI, but I also need to work, so am kind of in a dilemma.  Ideas? Encouragement, etc?
Any other MDIers out of work today?
No work on my primary, secondary and tertiary accounts!
Attention MDIers wanting to go USA only
I work for them off and on, and to my knowledge there is NO offshoring involved in anything they do. Great group of people, too.

HEADS UP, MDI-ERS --- LAST I HEARD PROSCRIPT WAS HIRING IC'S!!!!!!
How many of my fellow MDIers got replies to the
emails with personal questions that were sent?  On the conference call they gave a general email address, but also said that if we have a personal situation or concern that we needed to ask we could send to Carlotta or Dorothy.  How many of you that did this got a reply?
am I paranoid? (to current MDIers)
This talk about letting people go come January 1st is already worrisome, but tell me, have any of you sent a personal email to D lately and NOT gotten a reply? Just wonder if this is a clue I should be paying attention to.
Do you MDIers remember when they asked us ..sm
to send them a list of all the MDI equipment we had at home with serial numbers?  I have only worked for MDI for a littler over 3 years, but that is the first I had been asked that.  I think this buy out has been in the works for a long, long time, as they were probably compiling a list of assets for the purchasing companies.  They did this at my husband's company ... a rep from the company wanting to buy their company walks through the plant and documents assets and equipment to value it for the purchase.
Many MDIers have had this problem today. Not uncommon.
You might want to get a second job as back up.
