You should be ashamed of yourself. This is called FRAUD. It is ILLEGAL and can give you prison time. You deserve it. You give MTs a bad name and I hope no company EVER has to deal with you that they have a way to talk to KS or any other company you have ever done this to.
I also hope they catch you and prosecute you.

It's easy in this business for the people controlling things to become really manipulative and oppressive. They never have to face you in person and they know they can get away with virtually anything.
How would you ever be able to prove that they are dumping the worst dictators on you because you complained about something once? Or anything else?
Unfortunately, I think management in this field tends to attract the chronic abusive manipulator type looking to make a killing off people out there somewhere working their fingers to the bone. Can't we squeeze line rates down a little farther? I've got my eye on a new Lexus.

I haven't really heard anything good or bad about them. I've searched but came up with nothing. I'm hoping that's a good sign since the bad ones seem to come up a lot. Which office are you with?

I transcribed 1,195 lines and ichart reflected only 154.08 lines the next day! I documented line counts every day, and for one pay period it was 2500 lines off on their end! - disqualified from benefits too. NO answer from supervisor.

Apparently there were changes made. That does not make her dishonest. It means her plans changed.

I got an email saying that I could not sustain my life with 1 doctor - so they would have to let me go - that = you aren't working here anymore. So, the next step is to call your unemployment office - they determine whether you are eligible to receive benefits or not - and because of the emails that the lead MT sent - she is the one who hung KS - it was determined that I was eligible. Then you look for work - for which there are many different aspects of what you apply for and what you do or do not accept - there are not so many employment positions for MTs -more IC jobs which do not count as employment. I did everything as layed out in the guidelines. KS just didn't want to be responsible for their part of the unemployment - siting laws in their state - which are not the same as those in the state where I live - and you state's laws are the ones that count - not theirs. Please tell me what is dishonest about this. I did nothing dishonest while working for KS - all I did was work. Oh, I did miss one TAT because my broadband was down - and that was in a year.
Well that's just plain dishonest then.
I wonder if the MTstars quote was actually written by the the recruiter him/herself then. I think I'll pass on this company then.

Hi there, I worked out of Nashville, too. I have been switched around SM
between several CSCs due to closings. This one seems okay, at least the office staff is friendly.
I work for the Nashville office...
I do acute care work. I had less than two years' experience when I was hired. I tested for clinic work but they asked me if I'd be willing to do acute care even though I had no experience with it. I have no idea if 0.825 cpl is a good hiring rate. I was coming from a company that only paid 0.065 cpl so it was better than what I was making.

Seattle. Don't say that the majority has IT support out of India, because it's not true. Even Spheris (with a large presence in India) does IT out of Franklin, TN.

Hospital can't find transcriptionists, don't want to pay benefits, don't want to buy the equipment or want to use the space for something that pays and then they outsource. After they outsource for awhile, they don't like the quality of the work, don't like the turnaround time, don't save as much as they thought they would or can't verify the bill and then they bring it back in house. After awhile, they can't find transcriptionists, etc, etc and so forth.
I rest my case. Once again OSi shows how dishonest they are.
This makes me ashamed that I once worked for them, but also makes me glad that I work for a decent, honest company now and do not have to be a part of their BS!!

Platform runs too slow for my expander
Spell checker you have to provide. Management - I experienced two good team leads, neither of whom are there anymore, other than that, not impressed. Have had situations where what I earned did not match what I was paid. Last team lead I had had a problem with being rude and expecting everone to drop their previously scheduled lives for her, while she was virtually unreachable to us otherwise. They do something every year and can a bunch of editors or MTs, bizarre yearly ritual. Perhaps things will be different now, perhaps not. Good luck either way!

I've feel for the same thing and tired of dishonest people.
My favorite was when a recruiter would actually do all of her recruiting by pretending to be an MT. She went to great length singing the praises of her company, even though others were badmouthing the company. She was very convincing until I put two and two together. Actually, she wasn't too smart. She private emailed me from the board as the MT saying that she would contact her boss to recommend me.. Well, though and behold her boss and her both had the same email. Now, do I look like a moron or what. So, honestly, I rarely trust those cheerleaders on here and just take it with a grain of salt because you never know who your talking to.
Even the long time Cymed recruiter jumped and went to another Nashville company.
i'm totally amazed they are still running but i feel an implosion any day now.
