I will keep it for the sake of my finances for right now, but I am looking hard for another job. I feel like anyone can make mistakes and nobody is perfect, and I don't feel I should work for free if I do make a mistake.

Surely the editors and supervisors and account coordinators don't get docked for mistakes, so why should the MTs?

I made a mistake during my training period, and the policy of docking for errors was held over my head by my editor. Why should I work myself into possible carpal tunnel syndrome for low pay, and then still get docked for an error if I make mistakes like all human beings do?

I can never find a good MT job with everything I am looking for. All this is making me want to go back to school to do something else.
