Be careful right now, because TT has much overhired, promising something big coming up, but nothing seen by the MT's yet, just LOW WORK load.

I used to work for Transtech - best place EVER to work - but left for maternity leave and stayed at home for a while. I will definitely be applying for second shift because my hubby will be home to watch the kids. It's a good day today.

When did you get offer from TransTech? We just got email saying they were NOT hiring . . .
Just wondering how we are going to pay our bills for the next 5-6 months at TT. It has been very tough for a very long time, because of lack of work due to TT overhiring, anticipating new accounts, as all companies do -- HIRE BEFORE THE ACCOUNTS COME ONBOARD and maybe not even get the accounts when that times comes.
My question is when were you offered a job with TransTech?????
I notice that Transtech is continually hiring. Are they growing that fast or are they
overhiring? Should I be concerned by this or apply? How are they to work for? Any input is greatly appreciated.
TransTech for many reasons, good pay, stable company, good benefits
and flexible.
I have looked around the last 6 months and have found nothing better. Have turned down numerous jobs, and have finally decided to stay put. The better insurance plans were announced and even moreso than ever, I am staying put, and my paycheck is happy about that because it is getting better every day. Good luck to you.

Does anybody know of any hospitals or transcription companies who are hiring for part-time ER work on eScription? I have been doing eS for 5 years and have my Advanced certification in EditScript and am looking for an additional account. It needs to be a flexible position because I have another commitment. A company would not go through the expense and time of hiring you only to not
contact you. This smells fishy. It is not the first time you have said this but it does not sound right.
Any companies hiring part-time?
I need flexibility. Willing to do a certain number of lines every pay period. I started with MedScribe of NJ and already they run out of work and seem to be dodging my emails about a secondary account. Afraid I made a bad choice.....
I've been there quite a while, pay on time, growth spurt right now, so good time to get on board,
new accounts and lots of work, and before someone says it, I'm not management, just an employee.

Yes, they are now hiring part-time MT's but only where absolutely needed. sm
They tried going to FT only but decided that was eliminating some good/great MT's.
I was told that the reason they were trying to only have FT MT's was that if someone worked FT for a different company and PT for them, they were burned often when the other company needed OT or schedule changes and that the KS lead MT's were left without coverage.
I started FT and went PT for family reasons and do not work for another company. I hope to go FT again in the future, but they worked with me to find a schedule that worked with my situation.

Personally, DSG is a good fit for me. Pay is good and on time, sound quality depends on the account
and I like the platform. There is not much weekend work, although sometimes is available. I get along well with the management, no major complaints. There is pay incentive once you get over a certain number of lines in a pay period. I work as an IC, so can't help with benefits, insurance questions, etc.
Does anyone recommend a pretty good company that is good to work for, pay always on time and plenty
of work. I know that is asking a lot, but just curious?

I have over 14 years experience. I love doing orthopedics, ER notes, and clinic dictation. Does anyone know of a company who is currently hiring for PT work right now? I am looking for a company that you don't have to spend weeks and weeks filling out paperwork, calling back and forth, waiting, waiting and waiting to begin work. I am very dependable, hard-working. Looking for someone that can respect that in this day and time. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I saw they were hiring but there is no way I'd work for them. Their ad sure sounds good with shif
differential and good pay etc.. but it means nothing if they dont pay their people and you had to fight to get it. No thanks.

Know any good companies hiring for clinic work? I'd rather get lower pay for clinic and have a higher line count than stress out over acute care at this point.

Rad MTs now. I would highly recommend.
And you are no longer a hiring manager and probably lost out on a LOT of good people

Question for old time TransTech MTs.
I keep seeing a new MT who is not following format on the new account to an extreme. Additionally, has about 10 blanks and is not sending to QA. What would you do, notify management or just keep quiet? I've seen this over and over again in reports that I pull up. I don't want to be a sourpuss but it's really, really bad and I think in the long run will reflect negatively on the company. Input is appreciated.
TransTech part-time?
I currently work for Transtech and am very happy there. My only problem is I'm finding it hard to balance taking care of my kids and myself (I've had heart issues since having my baby last year) and was wondering if TransTech even offers part time work.
Like I said, I'm very happy there and want to continue my employment, and going partim time would make things here much easier.
