I have absolutely no reason to lie about my experience with SS. It was a horrible place for lots of reasons and I'll tell anyone who asks about the company my experience to spare them the headache. IF my QA scores were down (how could they be I was in QA), if I didn't stick to my schedule, etc. and got fired I would admit that also, but none of it happened - I QUIT and H did beg me to stay. I know it is hard with all his sliminess to believe he could beg, but beg he did.

Must be a skinny person who thinks it's that easy. If it were, trust me, we'd all be thin.
No one wants to be overweight, noone what to contemplate surgery, but I think there is a conscious choice to want to live and will do anything to keep doing that with a decent quality of life. It's not always by choice that people are overweight. All I can think of here is ....empathy.. and I applaud anyone who cares enough about living to do whatever it takes, no matter how drastic. For some, it's their last chance to live so spare us all with the Just diet and exercise speech.

Just a victim of the usual lack of consistency with MQ...I was told it was DEP at first, then when they started throwing the DQS term around, I felt clueless...turns out it is one and the same.
That said, there should not be any difference in a program in lines if you were on DEP/DQS..but who knows anymore, it could have been XY&Z but really AB&C platform and who knows what they'll call it next year

First, their HIPAA officer is an idiot and says to use MSN messenger for pt names.
ANYONE with any brain knows that MSN is not a secure environment for patient names, but when confronted and asked, she said yes we could say patient names in that. A friend of mine who worked there at the same time told them that she would NOT use patient names in messenger.

i have asked for other transcritpionists email addresses to see if we could put our heads together like for example learning speech and helping each other. No deal, was just ignored. Lied to constantly just because we can't see the work. It is an insult. Wish I had never gotten into this profession. I was even excited when we could work at home thinking it was going to be more lucrative financially, and it should be but when transcription companies spend millions of dollars buying each other something is wrong, wrong, wrong.

I have had a positive one. I have been with Keystrokes for 3 months and am very happy.
I printed them to show my manager but she told me that there are few bitter people out there and no one can do anything about them. My manager said that everyone can tell that it is the same few over and over again, for Keystrokes and a few other companies as well. Time to move on Ms. Anon. the positions that had open were not a good match for what she has done. I read her post a few times. It says that her skills do match the opening that she applied for, not that she was a bad Transcriptionist or anything like that. Their question sheet is pretty specific. If she was looking for hours that they did not have available or a type of account that they did not have openings for, that would explain it. At least she heard at all. I applied to at least a dozen companies, many mentioned here often as good or great companies, that never even acknowledged my application or resume. Each experience is obviously different.

I do not know All Type or any of the people involved in this but it have been reading along because I am interviewing with them next week. I was very upset by this and scared that I had made the wrong choice. You have made a lot of statements and I was thinking that you were treated unfairly and that I hoped you proved your case in court and maybe make our place in the industry a little stronger. We are the lowest people on the totem pole in every company and we do get kicked around a lot. But you now sound like you had it in for one particular person at your company and have worked very hard to cause problems for that person. I just do not know why you would stay there or even want to go back if you hate this person and she makes you this unhappy with your life and job and she singled you out to cut your pay so drastically. I agree with the other poster who said you have wasted a great deal of time on this and that you should move on and find yourself a better job with a company that is a better fit for you. I think you have gone too far and become far too emotional when you get this dangerously close to slander.

And when you go into see your doctor, he is more concerned with making his laptop work and inputting info than he is listening to you. My friends are angry about this as they see it more and more. So EMR, internet, etc are more trouble than they are worth and we can only hope we go back to the way it used to be.

who actually makes an offer to someone, you should have a method of following up with someone after a week or so to make sure that the new hire is up and running, especially after you have been notified that the new hire has returned all necessary paperwork. Your process sucks. period.
