Yes it is Transtech again.  You get no training here.  When they say that you must work independently that is exactly what you mean.  They do leave you alone.  They call and tell you how to use the software but there are no more phone calls about account specifics or anything.  No QA calls, no team lead calls, no conference calls, nothing.  At my last job we did get bombarded with conference calls and now I realize that it was for my own good.  We had one persnickety client that was always complaining but the good thing (now I can see that) is that the QA in charge of the account would schedule a conference call about the changes.  These were mandatory calls too.  I used to not like that but decided that maybe I DO need some help every now and again.  So I decided to go back to my old job. 


I also used to have jobs where the team lead or training department would have conference calls instead of QA.  Either way it was somebody who was very familiar with account specifics who could teach instead of sending the same old tired e-mail. 


Transtech is a nice place to work but their training department and follow-up needs to step it up. 


Go ahead and ridicule me for posting this but I think this is valid.  Thank you.
