A lot of MTs tend to not give themselves the credit they deserve and have very low self-esteem. Medical Transcription is a very skilled profession, takes more than just going to school, takes years of experience. None of that seems to account for anything anymore. This has been a progressive thing and it continues to get out of hand. Best thing to do is not to accept the low pay, even if you have to get your own accounts, they are out there.
