to buy Workers comp ins and all that? That's crazy. I just turned down a job with them because the recruiter was so doggone hateful but they told me they didn't have IC status.

They said that had employee and statutory employee and the ONLY thing different was that statutory you paid your own taxes but everything else was the same, i.e. work hours, schedules etc. That didn't seem right to me either. Plus likme I said, the recruiter was really hateful.
