ASD Screening

I worked as a teacher for an autistic child. Your son sounds perfectly normal to me; however, if you still have concerns, I would recommend first filling out this milestone checklist and interactive milestones chart from CDC:  http://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/autism/actearly/interactive/index.html

Young children should have ASD screening at 18-, 24-, and 30-month well-child visits. I think this will help alleviate your fears. Sometimes "mother does not know best." Good luck!
