Depression/Menopause/Decreased Sex Drive
I was wondering if any has any suggestions for increasing a woman's sex drive. I have been on Wellbutrin and trazodone for years and now I am going through menopause on hormone replacement. (I am 47 and had an ovary removed last year which caused me to go into menopause.) The last few years my sex drive has decreased to almost nil. Any suggestions/information would be much appreciated.
Been connected with the AF for 44 years now - sm

I can tell you that security forces WILL be deployed, especially now that many bases are short handed.  That means they can go anywhere armed forces are in place.  I believe they deploy for up to 179 days at a given time because to deploy for 180 days would mean a change of duty station, which is a lot of paperwork and expense.  He could literally be deployed for 179 days, home for 1 day, then deployed again if they wanted to send him some place else.  If they are telling him he will be gone 180 days a year then he probably will be gone at least that much.  I believe they do TRY to let them be at their home base for stretches if it can be done.  It is a lot to ask of a spouse if and when he gets married.  That said, however, I believe the AF is still a good choice for many people because of the awesome benefits and training they offer.  If he can stay for 20 he will also get that retirement check every month, which is the best part of all!  Best of luck to him.

Yes Marshall University. I am not personally connected, but it is so
Thanks for your prayers.
I get floaters (sm)
not sure there's anything to do about them, but probably would be tempted to go see your eye doc about them. They told me if they get worse to have them checked out.
Floaters
The floaters I have are secondary to cataract surgery and lens implant. Dr. says there is nothing to be done about them. Sometimes I swear there are fleas in front of my computer screen!!
floaters
Could they be oocular migraines?
These floaters are driving me ...
crazy!! Have any of you had these and if so were they able to be treated and how? Seems like today in my right eye they are worse (I know they can go back and forth). I hope someone out there maybe has an answer to this irritating problem. Thanks.
Floaters are a symptom not sm
a condition.  You need to find the source of the floaters.  Once you find the "condition" causing the floaters, then they may resolve once the "condition" is treated.  Also, I had two people tell me that Lasik did not work, and they are back to wearing their glasses.  Have you tried this?  Just trying to help.
floaters and flashes
I have both in my left eye from having severe uvitis iritis years ago. My ophthalmologist told me I will probably have retnal detachment in the future and said it looks like someone closing a curtain over your eye. Scared me!
Only that helped me was New Balance
I switched from wearing mostly Birkenstocks to New Balance after a visit to the podiatrist. It probably depends a lot on your foot type, because for some people it seems Birks are better, but they weren't for me. I have New Balance of all types now. It's almost all I wear and I haven't had a bad flare of PF for about 6 years now.
Floaters in older age groups
are not uncommon. I have had these over a year but they have been having little babies today it seems like.
diabetic retinopathy also causes floaters and....nm

Question about floaters, spots in eyes- anyone with this?
Ok, have had these checked out before and know I have floaters (really no treatment for those as far as I know) but when I got back from vacation here lately the floaters changed to very, very tiny little spots in 1 eye, looks like I am seeing gnats when looking at the monitor or say a white background, driving me crazzzzy. Am using some eyedrops for dryness but wondering if anyone else had similar. Thanks!
I open up my checkbook and look at the Ɔ' balance --
*
(That would be 'ZERO balance ' . It appears that

small claims court - sue them both for the balance - sm
But.... talk to your niece about it and let her know that in order to sue her ex roomie for the money, you also have to sue her.

Let it be a life lesson and tell her it's not like you hold anything against her but you have bills too and can't support hers.

USA needs more women in power to balance things

I don't think women's hormones are a reason not to vote for them.  Men (cough Bush cough) tend to have little-man syndrome, or little something else syndrome and like to start big wars to prove something imo.  "Me strong man.  Me powerful."  Their egos are just as dangerous as any hormone fluctuations women may have.

I think we need a more equal balance of men and women in power.  Together we can see every angle of a situation.  Just like with raising children.  Ideally it is best to have both a mother and a father for the child so that it will have the best of both worlds, and I think the same goes for our country.  (nothing against single parents - I was one for a few years, but it was difficult going it alone, and I have the utmost respect for single parents.  They have the hardest job on Earth!)

I had weird loss of balance today also,
while trying to trim the Christmas tree. I figured there was some funky dust on the fake Christmas tree, and asked DH to open the door to let in fresh air. I ate some yogurt and sat down a minute and it got better.

Even if yours lasts or comes back, there is a good chance it's just benign positional vertigo and physical therapy will fix it, so do not panic.
Credit cards with 0 balance can also negatively affect you -
If you have too much credit line available to you and you apply for a mortgage, they can turn you down because they know you can get your hands on that money quickly and therefore put your debt to income ratio way out of whack and jeopardize your ability to pay your bills. That happened to me once many years ago. I had 2 credit cards with large credit lines, but both had 0 balances. The mortgage company made me close them before they would approve my loan.
Hey, awesome I'm also a trainer! It is a great balance!I also compete in figure/fitness. nm

Benecol, Benecol Light, Smart Balance and
Take Control. Try them to see which one suits your taste. These are spreads. Most of them are not suitable for baking, though the more expensive of these may be ok for that and would be indicated on the package. I use Smart Balance.

Something else I use a LOT of is the powdered butter products (in recipes and on vegetables) like Butter Buds, Molly McButter and even popcorn butter-flavored salt...VERY low calorie content.
