I used to have a dog that masturbated.  No joke. Not seen anything like it since.

Your reaction is disturbing . . .
... and surprising to me that you show no strong emotion as to the implication here. Those dogs killed domesticated cats. That should never be taken lightly. In some parts of the country, it's criminal and owners are held liable. For you not to address the issue immediately, and for your sister-in-law to treat the situation so lightly is strange to me. Think about it. Next time those dogs can bite a child, a person, or continue to kill. Responsible ownership of a pet should not be taken lightly, and you and your sister-in-law are lacking here. Discuss the situation at once and come to a remedy that will prevent this from ever happening again.
It is shocking and disturbing.

Still quite disturbing, yikes!! ..nm
x
I find it kind of disturbing...
that you check his browser history. More so than him looking at porn. I would much rather my husband look at porn that go to another actual person, but I guess I really don't find porn all that offensive. I, however, would be very very offended if my husband went through my browser history to see what I had been looking at. It seems that if he really really wanted to be secretive, he would erase the history.
this has been extremely trying on all fronts-
she always had a DD - and I asked her if she did not that night - she did - but she only had 1 beer and assumed she was okay - but the cops sit outside the bar and watched her - and unfortunately she is gorgeous and I am sure that is part of the reason he decided to follow her.  He just pulled her over without any infraction.  I think most of us assume that 1 drink is okay but she is very tiny and she learned the hard way that it wasn't the case.  Taking away licenses doesn't prevent the chronic offenders or chronic alcoholics from driving again because they really don't care.  Since I have done trauma and pain management transcription I am quite aware that a very high percentage of people driving are under the influence - frightening!
I use it for extremely dry skin -
have a spray of it that I use on my arms legs, feet right after a shower when still a little damp, and I love it. It helps more than several lotions.
She is extremely needy.
xx
IMO. she's extremely attractive, but....sm
She's fixing to have the majority of Americans come down on her like white on rice for that little error. :D :D
That is an extremely fair pay and I would expect
them to do a great job for that. I have had the same problem with them starting out good and then having to go behind them like you said. I would first start out clearly stating what you want done and that you expect a good job consistently, even 6 months down the line. That is what I've been telling everyone I've talked to is that I need a consistent job each time.
Not sure where to post...extremely complicated...

OK - this is going to be a shocker post, but if I went too much into detail, I would be here for a day-and-a-half - my main question is this - does anyone know why a 7-year-old little boy would be wetting his bed every single night?  All I can think is abuse and have researched it and know there are other reasons possible, but given the situation, again, all I can think is abuse...

This is a REALLY messed up family:

The situation is my sister-in-law has been incarcerated for hiring someone to kill her husband.  She has 7 children, 2 children out on their own, and 5 minor children that have been split up between family members.  The youngest is the 7-year-old that I mentioned above.  He was born out of wedlock and her husband adopted him when he was 5.  Her husband is an alcoholic - a bad one.

Her husband did not die but called 911 and got help.  He is out of the hospital now and has had regular visitation with my 7-year-old nephew.  The husband and his family members, who he has been staying with, claim that he is not drinking and they have a "no tolerance" policy in their home, but now he wants to keep my nephew and live with him in the house where he was attacked, just the two of them.

My other sister-in-law has had this little boy since this incident happened and stated that he wets his bed every single night.  Without fail.  He just turned 7 this month.  I have his 2 half-sisters in my home, and they told me that he has been doing this for as long as they can remember.  They are 10 and 11.

I am sorry if this post is disjointed and does not make sense.  The bottom line here is I am suspecting something really bad and I wanted to get some opinions.  Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with nocturnal enuresis in a child that age?  Should I be worried??  He wants to take this boy from now on and have him live with him, and we really don't know what we can do about it!  I just have a really bad feeling...Thanks.

If you came out in 1975, that had to be extremely difficult - sm
for you. I know that had to take a lot of courage and strength on your part. Good for you.

I can never put myself in someone else's shoes but I can speak as a mother and a friend. The stigma that goes with the word "gay" needs to just disappear. It's getting better but has a long way to go.

When my son came out, I explained to him that like anything else outside the "normal" is going to take some time for people to really accept. Fortunately, there are many people who already do accept the lifestyle, even if isn't one they share.

We accept it because we love the people for who they are, not how they live.

Good for you. No condemnation from me.
We had an extremely close call...twice
One night our family went for a walk our neighborhood. DD had our Maltese on a leash and DS has our Jack Russel on a leash. It was just turning to dusk and a car was coming up behind us. Our neighborhood is a housing development so there are no sidewalks. We separated DH and DD went to one side of the road and DS and I went to the other side. Well our maltese is attached to me at all times and didn't like being separated from me. She pulled so hard she broke the little metal ring on the harness and ran right in front of the car. The car wasn't going that fast but some how Casey ended up running out the back of the vehicle and straight home he was so scared. I was screaming, we raced home and there he set on our front porch with a tiny little cut on top of his head. The people in the car did stop and then came to our house to check on him.

The next scare was even worse. Took both dogs to the vet and DD was taking them to the car while I was paying the bill. She ran back inside and said Lilly (the Jack Russell) got loose. I ran out the door as Casey was running back inside (looking for me). Well went spent 20 minutes running all over the neighborhood trying to find Lilly. Finally she had run in someones garage and when they realized what was happening shut the garage door and then let us in their front door so we could get her. Thanks heavens there are real animal lovers out there.
I know someone who had a procedure because it became extremely painful -nm
:)
Come on, Ella, extremely attractive?. How and where?...nm
nm
What an extremely tacky and insensitive
x
FYI -- she had an extremely good reason
to become addicted. Her doctor said her neck/spine is so damaged not many people would be walking around (multiple plates in her neck) and also the pain meds they had her on would knock out a 300-lb. man. Between dancing injuries and the plane crash she is in, she was in constant pain for a very very long time.
You are either a troll, liar or extremely dysfunctional....
take your pick. Oh, and if true, please get spayed!
I live on the East Coast where this is extremely common
for "older" women to be having babies. As long as you're healthy, I don't see it should be a problem. I was WAY too young when I had my daughter (19) and really wish I would have waited until I was in my 30s. The biggest problem I see here with women in their 40s having babies is that a lot of them are so focused on their careers that they don't spend enough time with their kids. I would think 39 would be okay, but you really are greatly increasing your risk of complications/birth defects if you wait much longer.
Of course they will listen. Mental abuse is extremely prevalent
and the abuse counselor will tell you the cycle of violence, here's an example you may recognize from him: First there is grumbling or little comments that demean you. You question yourself because he just seems to be "trying to help you," then, there is using finances, threats to take things away including children, controlling who you see, where you go, even what you think, then when you voice an opinion the violence. Starts out verbal. Will definitely lead to physical some day. He will also try the "crazy making," If you know the moon is blue for example, he will say it is green cheese, and then make you feel like you are the crazy one. You will question your reality and the truth that the moon is blue. You will become confused.
Then, a gift will appear, some form of kindness from him. You will forgive him figuring you were wrong, maybe it was you, maybe he will change, or whatever. You give in to him. Then it starts all over again, the grumbling. It is like clockwork. This is a proven fact with abusers. These people never change. A minute percentage do seek counseling, but the control they desire is too rooted in their being and their identity. They feed off of this control. Once the person they control is gone for good, they will seek someone else out.
Mental violence is a crime. Stalking is not just physical for example, phone calls, constant badgering when you say no, or say stop treating me this way, this is violence. I could go on about it, but please call the hotline and forgive me for being wordy here. Make that call and all will fall into place.
Yes!! I get extremely bored and have trouble staying focused on typing. sm
Some days I am so bored I dont know how I am going to get through the day!!
Have an extremely strong accent when speaking foreign languages,....nm

How does everyone deal with difficult, and I mean extremely difficult, people. sm

I'm not even talking about family members.  Just people in general. Especially the ones who are so kind to your face but you know clearly don't like you one bit. I have a few of those in my life. UGH! And I'm so kind that it eats me up inside, but I won't dare say anything to their faces. I just come on public forums like this anonymously and vent my anger and frustration!!

I met with someone today who told me to "love them," and feed into them and show them that you are not this vile person they make you out to be.  How do you do that? I'm learning that people, especially women, are just impossible to deal with. And I'm a woman!!!

That's weird.
That portion of the toolbar says at the bottom of the left sidebar when I scroll up and down. Good luck!
Boy, they can just HAVE that weird,
.
no, thats weird, unless
like our daughter, whose husband just installed a new stove -- he didn't know about changing the orifices and had it set for natural gas instead of propane -- they didn't know it but they were gassing themselves a few days.
is it so weird?
People who are under stress are likely to do anything - whether it be physical or emotional or mental stress. If the auditors didn't catch the error for so long then I say shame on the foundation - this woman was obviously very ill.
Not weird but
I just started collected Willow Tree angels.  They're precious.  I believe in angels.  Right after my sister passed away I was wandering through a store and out of the blue a woman asked me my opinion on a pillow - it had angels on it!  I took it as a sign that my sister was telling me she was okay and was now my angel!  I had goosebumps at the time.
That is so weird (sm)
Because if you're where I think you are from your signature, just up the highway they've had those avalanches, and here in Seeley we're snowing as I type, and have had at least two feet of white stuff in the last two weeks....of course, it did rain last night a bit before snowed again, and the same the other day. But still.....weird weather we're having, huh....and even read that where you are, you have less than normal snowfall, and it's "dry snow" ....so if they tell us come summer and fire season that this snow didn't count for anything, I'm gonna be reallllyyyyy po'd....lol.....anyhoo, keep dry.......
Not weird at all - sm
I think that definitely has something to do with his behavior.  I often jokingly use that as a defense to friends/family when we're out and he starts acting up.  We do try to do one-on-one things with each of our kids and will continue to do it.  He just requires a little more one-on-one.  Thanks for your post.
How weird is this?
My husband and I were just talking about that dweeb, Billy Mays, too!     He gets on my nerves so bad.  I cannot stand that dude.
Weird...
I don't practice feng shui yet but plan on learning...

I was looking at apartments to rent and walked into one (after looking at several) that just felt like 'home.' I couldn't explain it, but the feeling of peace, harmony and happiness just filled the apartment (occupied by a single nurse and her very large, very fluffy kitty).

I snapped the apartment up not only because it was beautiful but because of the incredibly positive energy the apartment exuded.

When I was signing the lease, I was explaining to the manager how good I felt about the place. She said, "I think maybe there's something to that feng shui the woman who lives there now does."

YEAH, DEFINITELY!!!!!!
no not weird,
i never was much good at the sewing part, but i do my own cleaning, make most my meals from scratch, and have made my own butter, enjoyed the simplicity in the past of a wringer washer...i think all the conveniences and hired services sometimes make for more stress, not less. there is a satisfaction to be had there, and it is the biblical way, in my opinion...carry on!! but by the same token, those who hire out help and use all the conveniences are not weird either...
No, definitely not weird...
I don't mind cooking and cleaning but some days with working and taking care of 2 little ones, it would be nice to just pay someone to do it...if we didn't have the money to do it though obviously it would not even be a consideration...believe me, we have money to have a maid come in once a week but my husband says no, so guess who does it??? me
that's really weird. Even Mom and Dad?
They probably suffer from dementia. Brother, also?
Don't be sad about the others.
I would mention it only to your parents, brother and boyfriend.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

and many more to come!
This may sound a bit weird., but /sm
I read your post and got to thinking about when I lived in a really large house and kept missing the knocks at the front door. I got myself one of those wireless doorbells, and would take the "bell" part from room to room with me when I was expecting a delivery... I wonder if you could take the part that usually screws onto the door frame and put it on a necklace or something for you mother to wear and "ring the doorbell" when she needs help, and then take the "bell" part from room to room. Actually mine was loud enough I didn't need to pick it up and move it unless I was going upstairs. They might even sell them with 2 or more receivers (what I call "bells") so you could hear it ring on whatever floor you are on.

Good luck. I took care of my uncle when he had lung cancer and we rigged up a baby monitor for him, but he was in a 1-story house and I could hear him except at night time, so I can empathize.
Yeah, its so weird
I can only lose weight doing low carbs too. I have done Weight Watchers and even staying in the points doesn't do any good if I am including too many carbs in there.
3 weird dogs
We have 3 dogs, one large, two small. The big dog is weird - he hides when he sees flashlight beams or hears electronic tones (like when the cell phone blows up) and it is so bad that he will knock over furniture trying to find a hiding place where he hunkers down and shakes and his paws sweat, so I guess these things really scare him. It is funny because he is huge and fearless most of the time.

The male small dog eats tomatoes right off the vine from the garden and likes to lick cast iron (antique sewing machine legs and a candle holder on my fireplace). He will lick these for hours. He eats great expensive food and takes vitamins too. So why???

The small female dog is a crack-up. She is one now and still acts like a puppy and carries her toys everywhere. She will for no reason run in small circles and then lie down flat on her stomach with her legs stretched out like superman flying. She sleeps lying on her back on a pillow like people do and snores like a freight train.

I guess you can tell that I love dogs! They are weird, but they are my babies.
THis is so weird because I had an email
from Paypal this morning confirming a purchase and I don't even have a Paypal account!!!  I checked my bank account quickly but that seemed all in order.  I sent the email to spoofpaypal.com for them to look into it.
Men are just weird some times##
.
Not weird at all - see inside
Men do stuff like this, most of them I expect. He just so happened to have you walk in on him. Please go to counseling to work through any problems you have, or go alone if he refuses to go. :-)
Seems weird he would go to craigslist
for help.
Okay, this may sound weird but.....
I have seen this in two different children in the family and they were all middle children. I know some may say there is no such thing as the middle-child syndrome but I say different. My daughter has two friends who were middle children growing up and they both had outbursts and seemed upset all the time, and their parents were constantly upset about them. In seeing this in my family and with friends, I really truly believe there is something to this. My mother is a middle child also and I can see she is perceived differently by her own siblings. She has been treated ugly by her younger sister and older brother. Her own parents (my grandparents) have always treated her differently, even though they would deny they have. I have seen it with my SIL and her daughter, the middle child. Now, on the other hand, the couple of middle children I have not seen it happen in was where the other children, one older and one younger, were opposite sex; she had two brothers. My mother had a sister and brother, my other family members also have sisters and brothers, but the ones with two siblings of the opposite sex than they, seemingly have no problems like this. A close friend had an older son, then a daughter, and then the youngest girl. The middle daughter began this behavior as well very early on. Since my girlfriend was a middle child, she quickly picked up on this and started spending time with this child alone and doing activities completely separate from the other siblings. She did tell me that if she were perfectly honest, she realized the oldest child probably did get more attention and then the second came along, probably not the same amount of attention, and then with the baby, of course, lavishing again because that child was the baby of the home. Being a middle child herself, she was very honest about this and knew what she felt like, so from early on, she spent a lot of time with this child, which may have seemed over doing it to the other siblings, but I have to say, it really changed things for the better for this child. She seemed to just blossom and the negative behavior just stopped. They took pictures of her by herself without other siblings around, movies alone with her, time cooking in the kitchen, just a lot of one-on-one time, and it really changed her for the better. I'm really sorry this is happening but I have to say, I've seen this happening over and over in my family and my friends. There is something to this middle-child thing. I think without even realizing it, parents are behaving differently toward the middle child; I can't put my finger on it but even I know we took tons of pictures of our first and as parents know, we tend to put the next child in everything together with the first, and sometimes their own identify gets lost in the shuffle.....you know?

My girlfriend did have a particular doctor who wrote books on this and she read a lot of the books, which she said made a lot of sense to her. She did not want her middle child to feel the way she did growing up and with the suggestions made, she did try them, and the return was great!! Maybe try this? I know you love this child just as much, but I'm certain the frustration you feel (and it sounds your son feels as well) is coming through. With his age, he just doesn't have the coping skills to know what is bothering him necessarily, so maybe a good book on this would help you.

How weird. I was just going to ask the same thing
I also have huge bags under my eye. I never paid too much attention until my daughter told me that I looked tired one day. Boy do they look awful. Cover make up doesn't even begin. I was hoping others would have some remedies to at least make them less puffy and dark. I may have to try Preparation H.
This story is so weird to me, I can only wonder...
I watched 'The View' today.
How did this man get pregnant? This is a puzzle to me.
And how come that his wife, who had an hysterectomy is BREASTFEEDING the baby?

How did her body produce milk?
Isn't it that one must be pregnant before producing milk? t is all a hormone thing.

This is all so weird to me, downright scary and I do not like it a bit.
It's all just to confusing and weird to me
I know it's a woman with man parts, but since he/she now looks like a man, it's just too strange. I was also wondering how the wife was breastfeeding.
That explains it somehow, but still weird..sm
What is a puzzle to me is how this man/woman got pregnant?
This is only possible if he/she has still the female organs and he/she is artificially inseminated.
They mentioned only 1 operation, the removal of her breasts.

It is also weird to me that Barbara Walters is so interested and fascinated by this story.

I used to admire her a lot, but lately not so much.

But for being over 70 she looks really still great, lately not so much, though.

The whole story is 'mocking' God, I do not like it at all.

They will tell the child: 'Your father had you! The poor child.
What a weird situation...sm
There is nothing wrong with you or your husband being friends with the mom. I think it was totally acceptable for you and your husband to go to the funeral because your husband knew this woman. Why wouldn't he go? It would be childish and immature to not go.
Also I think the relationship between the mother and you and your husband is not the brothers or the ex's business. The mother is free to be friends with whoever she wishes, and it is none of their business. It seems to me they need to get over it. I would continue being her friend and tell them to get a life.
This may sound a little weird
But I live in a really big city and I would put him in a retirement complex. That is a really good place for people with lots of money who don't feel like cooking for themselves or being alone. I hope you live in a big city too. Good Luck!
Weird twitching?
I have this weird twitching/slight spasm feeling in my upper abdomen, and I wondered if any of you have typed this or heard of it.  It feels like a baby kicking.  I wonder what in the world it is?  Anyone know?
That end of craft is just WEIRD sm
Most of us who make them and/or collect them aren't like that! They can be outstanding works of art, but that is what they are...ART. They are not surrogate children.

I will say that they are a blast to dress and to look at. IT is fun because they will stay little AND their Carter's won't wear out. They are also a lot of fun and a lot of work to produce from the setting of eyelashes, to the microrooting of the hair to the properly blushing and veining of the skin. They can also look absolutely hideous! I have seen some really awful ones too.

You are right. That sort of love and attention should be given to a real child or to a pet, not a doll. I do them because I love dolls with a passion...to twiggle with or display. I collect all sorts of dolls and I am starting to rehabilitate old dolls as part of my reborning skills. I do change their clothing because I make a lot of doll clothing. I play with them as far as changing clothes for a new display goes, but they are artwork!!!!

Weird symptoms....sm
My sister-in-law went to the ER tonight.  Her symptoms were numbness all over her body, nausea, dizziness, and shortness of breath.  She started antibiotics Friday evening.  These symptoms started tonight.  I thought it may be the anitbiotics.  Some kind of adverse reaction.  She has a pilonidal cyst so they put her on Sulfa antibiotics.  Well when she went to the ER they said they didn't believe it was antibiotics but a panic attack.  She said she has never had a panic attack in her life.  How weird.  I just wonder if it could be the anitbiotics even with no rash.  I would hate for it to be the anitbiotics and her keep taking it and get worse.
