dare you call me a liar! I posted honestly about this situation only because I have stopped. If I had not, I would not be comfortable revealing my thoughts on marijuana in an anonymous forum where I must validate my post with my e-mail address because, as I have already stated, I do not want my children to be taken away from me. Call me paranoid, but I feel that by validating my posts with my e-mail I am anonymous only to the majority of posters here, but not to others. When I did use marijuana, I did try to hide it from my children, but I am not stupid enough to believe that I could do that any longer because they are now teenagers. I will not have bad, bad withdrawal symptoms because I do not take anything that will be withdrawn, since it has been quite a long time since I have smoked marijuana. I am not and have never been "hooked" on anything. I like the effects of marijuana for recreational purposes, yes. But, more importantly, I like the medicinal effects of being able to work on days when I HAD a migraine that has been relieved by smoking a little weed, or when my back and shoulders ached so badly I didn't feel like getting out of bed, much less transcribing for a full day, until I smoked a little weed and the pain was relieved and I was able to make it through the very long workday. Guess what, I still make it through the day, transcribing for a full day, but I am in great pain while doing so and afterwards. I suffer through migraines that I know I do not and should not have to suffer through, not to mention the nausea associated with these migraines that could easily be relieved. You, friend, have no idea what you are talking about, obviously.

I should mention also that when I did withdraw the drug, I had absolutely no withdrawal symptoms; none whatsoever. The only symptoms I experienced were those described above -- the pain and nausea that would be relieved if I lived in a state that allowed prescriptons to be written for the medication that has helped in the past.

And another thing . . . You are rude and I obviously have taken offenSe!
