you had your first child? My daughter just sent off her first college application, and I feel much too young to have a daughter applying for college. Not even one gray hair yet!

I had just turned 26 when I had her and was 28 when I had my son. I did not think I was so young at the time but most of their friends' parents are in their 50s, and I will only be 46 when both of them are in college.

I live outside of Boston, so maybe it is a regional thing?
