GEEZ, I nearly fell out of my chair laughing!
I really do appreciate this laugh! LOL

lol, I was laughing so hard, I thought the sign read MT DEPTARTMENT!
Still funny though! lol
Laughing, HARD! Looks like a science experiment...I VOLUNTEER!

Weigh too much, laughing as I read
because that is exactly what I tell even my physician if they want to weigh (which I do not, by the way!) because figure unless I am getting anesthesia and they want to make sure about amount, do not really need to know that. Just take a guess..
I am laughing as I read your post
you are saying Tina with her ole self is better than the younger Beyonce. Oh, now I am splitting my sides, he, he, he, he, he.....Tina used to break it down but she has got too much age on her now- she should have stayed retired and the way we remembered her.
If they fell in love with us, as we were...sm
why do they want to change us completely? Yes, I know there are reasons of health to lose weight, but if you're told your weight is "disgusting," that doesn't sound like concern for health. My husband was exactly like that with me - which is probably a big reason why he's now my EX-husband. We went back & forth for many years trying to work things out, but I'll never again settle for less than the love/commitment/respect that I feel I deserve, even though it means I may be somewhat lonely for the rest of my life. Good luck to you, whatever you decide!
I fell asleep at the end, but
I believe the ones below the yellow line were Brittany and Jenn, and that we won't find out until the next show which one was eliminated.

The girls sure are stressed out by having 2 people return, and one of them not Bernie. It's a shame he was just 2 pounds short of having the highest percent weight loss of the previously eliminated players. It would have been nice to have him back.

Jillian certainly did have some weird outbursts. I don't think it agrees with her to not have the big burly guys on her team.

There is too much to watch on Tuesday nights!

I did not see the show. Fell asleep
but heard on the news that she was throwing a hissy fit back stage and now I just looked at the video on Youtube and pretty funny.

Fell asleep last night on CSI NY - (sm)
The one where 19year old girl in the hospital after a wreck was murdered.  Fell asleep before I could find out who suffocated her.  Anyone?
I fell in love last night.

I was browsing youtube.come last night and I found a video by Erasure sing O’Lamaur.  I fell in love.  Just a while ago, I looked at it again and saw the comments.  Come to find out he is gay and has HIV.  I know, I know even if he was straight he would not have anything to do with me but it was a nice fantasy while it lasted. LOL.   I also watched the video to Always and not only can the guy sing but he can do acrobats.   I had never seen these videos before but this was the music I used listening to while getting dressed in the morning to go to high school.  We could not afford cable back then.

I love 80s music maybe because it takes me back to a time before I had real responsibility as in kids, mortgage, line counts.  It drives my husband nuts.

I think he also fell out of a palm tree while
.
Once, right in the nose and fell down/passed out
for a few minutes. Ouch! It was 25+ years ago by another girl over a boy, but unfortunately she was probably double my weight. My sisters weren't very helpful, they lifted me back up and while I was still stumbling around and seeing double said ''get her!''. Yeah, sure. Even the girl was decent enough to know I couldn't handle any more. So I took the loss :(
You fell for that ONE OF A KIND crap, too?? nm
xx
I have been but fell asleep last night.
Who got "desashed". I don't know why I enjoy it...but I do think it is real. I watch more reality TV than anything. I know, I need to get a life!
chair
Ace Hardware and Walmart sells this stuff called Shoe Goo that works great on everything like this. It's a silicone in a tube, but is very sticky and lasts forever. I have used it on stuff in my house and even my car.
does your chair
put too much pressure under the knee using the foot pedal? if so, you might try doing like i do, and have foot pedal raised up on a little platform (build from wood/use books/boxes, anything for the height). Sometimes i feel too much pressure on the heel as well, and have used a beaded wrist rest under my heel.
Anyone ever been to Fell's Point in Maryland close to Inner Harbor. What can you tell me about

this area of Fell's Point.

Good question - I fell last night and my dh didn't even help me get up (sm)
I mean I fell really hard and hurt myself and he didn't offer to help.

I really hope things get better for you, whatever your sadness is about.
My auto clock fell back too, just had to adjust it...
make sure to check yours again next Sunday morning. The auto clocks are on the previously scheduled time change rotation, not the new one (my clock is 2 years old). the newer ones should be on the right schedule.
So if I get a smaller chair...LOL
nm
My little one is laying on the arm of the chair
with his head hanging over the side. Every now and then he jerks his head back up when he starts to fall off! He's mad because I wouldn't let him lay on the nice warm laptop.
Nope, that's her chair only.

Wonder where the snowmen came from? Must have been a chain store that sold them. This one was in central Indiana...

Repairing chair

I saw this stuff at a car show that does the same thing as Mighty Putty, but it is a thinner liquidy type stuff and it worked really well.  I saw it at Hot August Nights this past year in Reno.  It worked really fast and is "sandable" - I watched the man work with it and it dries almost instantly and I wish I remembered the name.   Maybe if you go to some car restoration websites you will see it.  I think I remember that it was acrylic based and that you can add fibers to it if you wish.  If my chair died I would cry, so I hope you are able to fix it.  It does look fixable to me.  Good luck.

Rigged chair
Thanks for asking, meant to give an update, but forgot. Nice older man made the repair for me, owe him my life, or at least the life of my back. Love love this chair, out of it for 5 days, and oh the love I have for this chair, forgot how much I love this chair.

Called Herman Miller and they sent me to a chair repair place on the phone who said they would replace the seat of my chair for $250, which I was willing to pay, but thought I would try this fix first, still may get it in the future, but hey, may not be pretty, but it sure as he@ll works. Man friend said about the putty, you mean that Super BullS@it putty, so no I didn't try it.
And I bet he has you laughing, too
do not care for zebras (saw some really mean ones 1 day attacking their own, kicking and killing it, really surprised me, and hynenas, nasty, scavengers, yuck, and also those crazy big animals that play follow the leader and cross the crocodile ladened waters only to get eaten alive. I love the baby animals but the ones above I can do without.
I'm not laughing
My brother says Tony got hit - the look on his face at the end says it all, according to him. I don't see it that way - I think he just looks up to see Meadow coming through the door.

I for one feel ripped off. I went to the HBO website and sent an email to David Chase to that effect, stating I would not buy any Sopranos DVD or other merchandise, and that never in the future would I watch anything with David Chase's name on it.

After a decade of being a faithful fan to that show, he's too lazy to wrap up the loose ends at the final show. I hope he chokes on some French wine and cheese.
I'm laughing now, too!
Thanks! One time I saw him at the blinds in his living room which overlooks our porch. His light was on, and it was dark. I was on the porch with my brother, and Hermie was peaking out the blinds at me!!! He looked about 8 feet tall! That is right after I moved in! Anyone with an empty house or apartment for me???? Batless, preferably!
I am laughing!
Being younger than 80 and older than 50, these posts crack me up! I would NEVER want a little old man, I have one and that is more than I can handle as they get needier and needier. They want to tell you how to fold the clothes, how to do the dishes. They are bored when they are old and try to take over domestic stuff and get in your face, so a man is out. I hate scarves, etc. I love Pizza! I would like an Ipod gift card! Or, I would like a coupon for a lunch out, an unusual plant, a pedicure, a movie ticket, a makeover, a cool pair of slippers (I like them when I am typing), and I see lots of stuff at the antique store that I love that are fairly inexpensive in the part of the store where the linens are - like old cool tablecloths, dish towels, pillowcases etc. because they remind me of my mother and aunts and now that I am "old" I like them. I also like stationery and cooking stuff like cookbooks, utensils, etc. Just my 2 or so cents.
Good - Rotties are cute puppies. Bad - they eat a TON, also I got knocked over by one and he fell o
I broke ribs and arm. His head alone was probably 30 pounds. I have a big guy now, lab/great dane, but Rotties are huge. Oh they slobber a ton. But I guarantee no one will come in your yard who is not welcome when he is there!
Well, maybe they are terrified of the potty chair because we
missed the window of opportunity to teach them when they are younger. Here's just one of many articles on the topic:

http://www.pottytrainingconcepts.com/Potty-Training/Article-Cleveland-Plain-Dealer.htm

And a Google search with words like "disposable diapers" "American" "late potty training" will turn up lots more information along this vein.

People seem to think that training children early is cruel. But there are gentle techniques for teaching continence, and we need only be in tune with the signals children give. The later age of toilet training indisputably correlates to the introduction and widespread use of disposables in this country. Did you know that Dr. T. Berry Brazelton signed on as a spokesman with Proctor and Gamble back in the 1960's? He was paid a lot of money to promote disposables.

Disposables are a big business in this country. Advertising and time have erased the memory of a time when most American children were trained by age 2. It can be done. It takes a little patience, knowledge of gentle techniques, and lots of praise. Children do tell you when they are ready to train, but these days people don't know the the nonverbal cues that children give us. Instead, we wait for children to stand up, walk over and say, "I'm quite finished with using diapers from this point forward."

The tide is slowly turning again, however. Perhaps your grandchildren will be toilet trained at 18 months as more and more people discover that it's far easier to train a younger child than it is an older one. The older child has basically unlearned an unconscious thing. Most people will accept that it's easier to learn a new language when we're younger rather than older. It's exactly the same for toileting.
How about beach-chair position?
Doncha know the patient wishes they were really in a chair on the beach instead of in the operating room.

Looks like you guys need a bigger chair!
Boy, have they settled right in or what?!  That is absolutely wonderful!  You guys must be so happy!
Romey's Chair Glue
I found the name of the glue I saw at the car show. It glue everything. It is called Rescue Industrial Bond Adhesive and they have a website at:

www.RescueGlue.com

The site is having some problems. I tried to email you the phone #, but it wouldn't go through. Email me if you want it. Hope your chair is already fixed though.
Romey, did you ever find a fix for your chair?
This is how much of a freak I am....it has been driving nuts that 1.) a chair of that caliber would break like that, and 2.) Wondering what, if anything, you found to fix it.  I would be having a you-know-what fit.  Those suckers aren't cheap!  Did you ever try that super puddy stuff folks were talking about?
Romey, what kind of chair do you have? I need a new one. nm

Laughing Out Loud.
//
I am sitting here laughing at both of you
What martyrs you sound like, working at night so you can be there always for those children, not a boyfriend so to put those kids first, sacrificing. I could almost throw up listening to all the people talking about their being a single mother, and? so? It is like a badge of honor. Women have raised children for long years before these days and did not bend over backwards trying to sacrifice, just part of raising children. I was a latchkey kid, my kids also (oh, guess what- I actually had to work away from the home in earlier years!!) and my grandchildren were latchkey kids. We ALL turned out alright, no gangsters, no murderers, upstanding people. The reason kids are out of control now is the way you pamper, pet and sit the kids on marshmellows and do not let them be real kids. Kids get hurt, part of life. You need to say you are sorry for the post about not watching her kid 24/7, ridiculous! And get a real life besides the children. There are other things in life, really there are.
You got that right! I was half laughing and (sm)
crying when he did the "Crying" song with the turtle last week! Piers shot right out of his chair on that one! I voted for him about 12 times or so altogether. My nephew's wife voted for him 10 times three different ways. . phone, computer and different phone.
Laughing at myself...I saw a UFO, but not superstitious! LOL (sm)
just suddenly struck me as funny :-)
I'M STILL LAUGHING!!! THIS IS PRICELESS!!!
nm
I can't stop laughing....
Do you have any idea how much you will be paying in taxes if tobacco and alcohol are made illegal? Who do you think pays for the sin tax - the users of alcohol and tobacco. If they want to abuse it, fine by me as it does not affect me. Once it is made illegal, it affects me big time with taxes.
Might want to change the angle or height of your chair to

Herman Miller Aeron Chair
Thanks Annie M, maybe I will never need a new seat. My brother was a welder, if he were alive, he would have fixed it for me. Great load has been lifted, please chair, never die on me again.

Laughing? That judge is a moron.
Glad you found his humor to be comical.
I cannot stop laughing! You mean you actually expect me to SM

I live in PA. . . not sure of my options, but I'm headin' for the mirror right now to FIX STUFF!!!

I remember sliding out of a chair and sleeping on the floor (sm)
at my MIL's house during first trimester. Just seemed to drop off so easily and they were soooooo boring.

Good luck to you. Hope you have a healthy and happy pregnancy.
