that you have waited long enough and that you DESERVE better. If he is planning to marry YOU one day, why now now, after 10 years and 5 living together.

Sometimes love has to grow rather than a love at first sight type thing. I would suggest getting your own place and either giving the nice man a chance to woo you into love, or finding another nice man, or just being alone for a while and spending time with friends and family. The right guy will come along if that is what you really want and you put yourself in the places to find him (or have him find you).

This is, of course, just my opinion, but I think everyone deserves better than a relationship where you are still basically alone. Good luck, whatever you decide to do!
