Brook is lame

jumping from one man to another until they tee her off then another until they tee her off and on on on.   It is getting old.   Aren't Ronn Moss (Ridge) and Ashley (don't know the actress's name) married in real life?  I thought my Mil said they were. The actor playing Rick is a big contrast from the other actor that played Rick before.  I want them to bring Amber back and she and Phoebe can have it out.  LOL.

I don't really like the incest store lines (Ridge and Bridge and Rick and Phoebe). except it is not really incest but if I ever found out that my brother was not related to me I would not go have an affair with him nor my uncle.  GROSS!

Brook - you are the one misinformed
Circumcision isn't a necessary procedure. Smegma is natural and is there for a reason. It provides moisture and protects the glans. Removal of the foreskin exposes the glans and desensitizes it over time. Also, its a very traumatic experience for the baby. Did you have a look at the link in the article? Do have a look at the video inside.

http://hubpages.com/hub/Do-you-think-that-infant-male-circumcision-is-a-type-of-child-abuse

The poor child is crying so much and is obviously in pain, even though the doctor apparently had provided anesthesia. I think he says something like "it takes the edge of." Well, that means it doesn't take away the trauma of it. I coudn't even watch that - it was awful!!!
Unless your friend used to be a she or vice versa - sm
what's the big deal? His family has called him by one name his whole life and then they are expected to forget that name? His friends know him by a shortened version of his old name - fine.

It might not have anything to do with respect at all, just hard to do away with the first name.

Then again, he could go around and knock the snot out of everyone who calls him by his old name.

Worked for my sister! Until we moved across state when I was 9 and my sister was 11, she had been called Shelly by all of us. In our new town, she was no longer to be called Shelly but by her "real name" Michelle.

Every time I slipped, and even when I did it on purpose, she hauled off and popped me one until I didn't do it anymore.

And vice versa, just because the kids do not visit
does not mean their parents tried any and everything to raise them properly and then the kids turned out rotten. Works both ways.
Religion is not the only means to spirituality or vice versa (SM)
They certainly do exist together for many people, but they do exist exclusive of each other for others. An atheist can be the most spiritual person on the block over his or her religious peers. Spirituality is a concept that is different for each person. It is what makes a person feel they are at the right place at the right time, like they are at peace, or whatever someone decides for themself is their truth.

Think outside the box!
You aren't possibly related to that vice-president some years back who SM
spelled potato incorrectly are you? LOL. Sorry, couldn't resist that one!  Have a good sandwich!
Eggs
I would assume you can freeze fried eggs. I saw a box of eggs (like you would get on a frozen breakfast sandwich) at Wal-Mart in the freezer, so I guess they freeze and microwave fairly well.  Those frozen bfast sandwiches have eggs on them don't they?
Could be Brooke's eggs - (sm)
I was thinking that, but when would she have given them? Also Bridget involved?? -h-m-m-m food for thought.  Yes, watch Y&R (don't think Nick is dead either - I read he just signed a new 5-year contract).   I agree, nothing wrong with having a little daytime fantasy in our lives - LOL
do you care where your eggs come from?
Does it matter to you whether your eggs came from a cage-free environment, or a caged one?
finches and eggs

You are having a time of it, aren't you!

This is not an uncommon problem.  Many birds lay eggs anywhere and everywhere and don't sit until the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or more clutch has been laid.  Breeders use those birds just to get the eggs and then put the eggs under another female who is sitting and she becomes the surrogate mother.  What they do is put a hole in the bottom of the nest so that when the eggs are laid they fall down the hole to the pan where the breeder can get them before they are consumed and/or broken by the parents.  Cool, huh?  I had a pair of Quakers who were fantastic layers but ate every darn egg before I could get to them.  I know that's not what you want to do, but this is how the pros handle bad sitters.  Or they use an incubator which automatically turns the eggs every couple of hours if the hen won't sit.

Some birds eat the eggs out of boredom.  Some eat them because they are craving calcium.  Do you have cuttlebone in the cage?  Is it within easy reach?  Make sure it is.  If they are not using it, you may need to add a calcium supplementation to the female's food or she could become egg-bound trying to lay (egg gets stuck in the vent and bird dies.)  Consult your vet if she is not using the cuttlebone, as too much calcium is a really bad thing.  Watch the male for the culprit as well.  He may be low on calcium but since she is the layer you have to be especially careful of this when she is laying.  You have to know the proper dosage to add to her food and don't let the male eat the extra calcium if he doesn't need it because you don't want to overload his system.  If they are both eating the cuttlebone well, that is a good sign.

If she starts to sit and you don't want the babies, remember to substitute another WARM (in your hands warm) item such as a small marble or a bead that resembles the egg so that she will sit for her 28 or so days while her body recovers from laying or else she will continue to lay and lay until she is dead.  They all need a period of rest between laying.  Check out bird supply sites on the Internet for fake eggs.

If it gets to be too chronic, remove the male from the female to keep her from laying, at least while she builds her strength back up.

My bet is a calcium deficiency perhaps in both birds because either one or both are not just playing with them/breaking them but eating them as well.  Don't add a calcium supplement without checking with your vet first.  You have to get the correct diagnosis and then the correct dosage. He/she can feel the birds bones and do an assessment, etc.  Find someone who really knows exotics.

Be sure their diet consists of more than seeds.  Get them to eat some pelleted food.  The best is Harrison's I was once told but do whatever works.  Seed alone leads to malnutrition.  This goes for all birds of whatever type.  Also green veggies like Romaine which has calcium and they can drag a small piece around and play with it as they munch on it.  Small as in thumbnail size at a time.  My finches got carrot strips, broccoli florets, celery leaves, peas, etc. as toys to play with.  They had a ball and it was all natural.

Best of luck!

Oh, never! Not when we have EGGS to read about.

frozen eggs
You can buy frozen egg/biscuit sandwiches in the frozen section of the grocery store (think Jimmy Dean brand)which you can then microwave, so I would assume you could make your own. The worst that could happen is do a trial run of 1 and see how it turns out. Great idea for the kids, not to mention cheaper if you make them yourself. Never thought of it, but may try it for myself! I make my own mini-TV dinners out of leftovers and freeze them and then microwave them which is another good idea in my mind.
frozen eggs
You can freeze eggs but they tend to get a little rubbery.  Scambled eggs are better to freeze than fried eggs though, don't get rubbery.  And eggs you cook yourself and freeze are different than the eggs you get on breakfast sandiwches you buy at the store in the freezer section.  Good luck.  Just thought I would share this with you.  My husband is a chef, went to culinary school and all.
Umm... what's that got to do with the price of eggs?
That was a pretty off-subject, incoherent rant.
honey and eggs
If you really want a side business, keep chickens or bees. People like to buy organic food.
boiled eggs
Once I mentioned I liked boiled eggs. Everyone was so mad at me, there were 36 sitting in the middle of the table at dinner! Eat up!
deviled eggs
My eggs peel easily when I take them from the stovetop, pour off the hot water and then cover immediately with cold water and ice to cool.  This works for me.
Finches laying eggs
I posted about this about a week or two ago and got some wonderful advice.  We put a nest and nesting material in the cage but they never used the material. Roxie layed her third egg (I disposed of the first 2 when we first saw them) last night on the bottom of the cage.  She wouldn't sit on it.  We thought we would wait to see what happened and within a few hours the egg was gone with no sign of any eggshell or anything.  This afternoon found another egg, this time in the nest all by itself.  Mother still not interested in sitting it seems.  Okay, I typed about 10 charts and when I checked again the egg was completely gone.  Should I take the eggs out or leave them to be devoured?  I really don't want babies but am not sure how to proceed.  Would really appreciate any advice.  Thanks.  BTW, I am leaving early tomorrow morning and won't be back until late late Tuesday night so if anyone responds tomorrow I won't see it until Wednesday.

Can you freeze fried eggs? - sm
I thought I might freeze breakfast sandwiches for my son so he can have a quick breakfast before work - you know, bagel, egg, bacon and cheese.  Anybody know if eggs freeze and the microwave well? Thanks!
Not real eggs, just a design.

omelettes. eggs are economical protein
We like to have an omelette buffet about twice per month. We prepare all the family's favorite add-ins (diced ham, cooked potato, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, etc) and everyone chooses their own. Put 2 eggs in a quart-sized ziploc bag, seal the bag and simply squish the eggs by hand, then add your favorite ingredients. Remove as much of the air as you can, seal, and place all the bags in a large pot of boiling water for about 10 minutes (so as to not get each person's confused, you can write names on the bags with permanent marker). We add cheese after they're done, which the omelettes will slide right out of the bag. We just serve hot fresh biscuits and sliced navel oranges at the table to complete the meal. Everyone enjoys having their omelette their way and they're all done at the same time so no one's omelette gets cold. It only costs about $1 per person.
You guys must be as bored as I am to be reading about eggs! nm

I do miss the hiding and hunting for eggs
since my children are a little old for that. We hid eggs in neighbors yards (the ones will small children) when we knew they weren't home. We put candy and coins in all the eggs. One of the houses has a big sign on their front door that says "Thanks Easter Bunny". We were only able to watch one little boy look for eggs, but it was so worth it. Happy Easter to all!
i get eggs in the carton, Egg Beaters or egg whites

What do you make of the lab tech questioning the donated eggs? (sm)
There seemed to be something weird there, but can't figure out whose eggs they might be, if that is what was even implied.
Point of interest-use older eggs for hardboiled,

Our Christmas b'fast tradiation is scrapple and eggs
but I know that's no help! You have to be brought up on it to like. :)
Emeril Legasse taught me about hard-boiled eggs

Emeril says to put the eggs in the pot with the  cold water, and wait for it to boil, when it's a rolling boil, shut off the stove, and cover the pot for 13 minutes - and voila!!  Perfect hard-boiled eggs!!

Tell me if I am crazy

There is a man (very good looking I might add) who goes to our church.  He is newly single, having been divorced about 3 months.  I am single, having been divorced about 4 years.  We have known each other since I was about 14 or so. He is about 11 years older than me, which is not a problem (for me anyway) We have a lot in common, having both been single parents, both of us raising only 1 child, boys.  I REALLY like him.  He is smart, funny and just an all around good guy.  He is not perfect, I know that.  But he has had some ATROCIOUS luck with women.  Ditto me with guys.  He has come to church off and on, not steady but from all apperances he is back to stay now.

Question:  should I let myself like him?  I am kinda shy, and lord knows that I am not Miss Teen USA but I think I am a pretty nice person.  He is pretty flirty towards me (in a NICE way) but I am scared that I will run him off if I flirt back but at the same time, I don't want him to think I am a snob.

I have had him fix my computer (he is a computer whiz) and I baked him a cherry pie and that went well.  I need all the advice that I can get (prayer would not go amiss either!)

crazy... I would have given her the man I have for nothing
:)
crazy
That is crazy. Any realtor would have NEVER given them the keys until closing!! You have a good case against them. I would definitely call the office and complain to his boss. What happens if they don't show up at closing. You are out whatever they ripped up. WOW!
That's just crazy.
They will be adults some day and never forget how immature he was when they needed him to be a calm leader.

That's crazy!
I would write a letter to the bank and cancel my account with them. That is wrong that they cashed a voided check. Can't fault Wal-Mart for wanting their money, but the bank should be paying that $40, not you! Not saying its right, but the other place probably doesn't look at the mail-in checks very closely but just send them through to the bank. Bottom line, the bank should have caught that.
I think I'm going crazy.
I'm 48 and I was wondering when all that started too. I will get 2 periods, then skip 2, etc, etc. I am mean as a snake sometimes and then can't stop crying other times. I hate this. Sometimes I feel like my head is just going to explode. I've never taken any kind of mood-altering medications, they kind of scare me, same with HRT but geez am I going nuts?
I will pray for you and I would say no you are not crazy
but cautious - which you have to be. I would let him make all the moves and not be afraid to come off as 'snobby' - you have earned the right to be reserved - you are a single mom raising your son and that is your priority.  He will respect that - you want to give him a little time anyway - 3 months is not very far out from divorce.  Praying! :))
What do you think? I know this may sound crazy, but here goes. sm

I am in my mid 30s and currently having orthodontic treatment done. The doctor is so sweet (great looking too!).  I find him staring at me whenever I come in there, unusually so.  He's very, very attentive to me when he sees me.  Fast forward to yesterday. I paid all of treatment within 3 months using insurance and cash (close to 5,000) and I received a letter today. He told me that he was so impressed with the way I set goals to pay my treatment in such a short time.  Then he went on to say he was "looking forward to getting to know me better."

Okay. I was a little shocked. Is this normal? I've never had this happen before. It was a personal, hand written note.

Anyways, just wondering what your thoughts would be on this.  He is the kindest, gentlest doctor I've ever been around.  But, that's besides the point.

Just wanted to share this with you all. Not really looking for advice. Just thought it was weird.

Okay - this is going to sound crazy
But if you are an MT and this is MT business - you might consider contacting the AAMT - which is stationed in Modesto, Calif - even if you are not a member you'd think they could be halfway helpful.  I'm familiar with the Sacramento area and could tell you places to stay away from there in Stockton and Sacramento but not familiar with Modesto.  Sorry and best of luck!!
He would be totally crazy ...
If I kept him in for 2 to 3 months!! We have a large deck and in the one corner of it is a dog house and he has totally torn off the lattice in one whole section (to the dismay of my husband, to put it mildly) because he wants to be with my neighbors dogs.
If I cut this off, it will basically be the entire section of pad right in the middle of the paw which I think would take the brunt of his walking. It is on his back foot.
Eating ice like crazy!?

I'm in a phase of craving cold water and ice like crazy these days.  Anybody know what that means, besides perhaps anemia?  I was anemic a while back, but got that taken care of and don't see any reason I should be again.  I've been cutting back on sugar and dieting a little bit, wondering if that could be it?

Whatch'all think?

SNAP OUT OF IT???? That's crazy . .sm
The people who said that to you don't care about you, and have absolutely no compassion. I took a grieving class at a local hospital when my dad died years ago. It was the best thing I ever did. With a job and very, very young children, it was hard for me to take the time to grieve. Don't push it aside, you need to let the moment hit you and work through it. It's harder to grieve when you push it back. . . Check your local hospital, also, it was an awesome support group and helped tremendously. God Bless You. Don't let ANYONE tell you to snap out of it or get over it. You NEVER "GET OVER IT", you will always, always miss her.
LOL! And they call ME crazy!
You silly girl!
WOW. Yes what a crazy wedding
Glad you have been demoted to program passer outer. LOL. Butterflies and 65 and 68 years old. CRAZY. Keep us posted about he reception. I am sure that should be a hoot too.

Enjoy yourself. It is almost over. LOL.

BTW - I am going to a wedding Sept 1st. They are going to have a pig roast. How about that?? I am from NJ and never been to a wedding like that before. Should be very exciting. Can't wait.
