I had something like that a few years back - sm
and it turned out I was sensitive to DRYER SHEETS (fabric-softener). I stopped using them, and the problem went away.
I went back 11 years ago...
... and graduated in 2001 at the age of 45. Got my degree in info tech in business--and then decided to stay in the MT racket anyway. The reasons why are no big secret, and if anybody wants to hear 'em, I'll be glad to expound.
I did years back, but made up with her..and then

SO.....don't waste that emotion *hate* because we don't know when our lives end.  My sister was 30 when she died, in the late 1970s.  I'm just happy we had made up 6 months prior to that.  Her death was a shock to all of us.  One of my children was named after her AND even looks like her....

One never knows around the corner........

I was actually dxd with adult ADD several years back sm
by a psychiologist. I had symptoms similar to yours and was being treated for depression at the time and sent by my psychiatrist to this person who gave me a computer test and then gave me the same test 6-8 weeks later on medication to see if the results were different - and they definitely were. If I recall correctly it had to do with reaction times and how long my concentration was, etc. The results were a little shocking. I think I knew for years I had it - my oldest son was dxd years ago but it was just kind of lurking in the back of my mind and didn't come forward until I started having serious problems with getting my work done and making a decent living at MT... I finally took medication upped my BP so badly I had to quit. I just try to go with the flow now - I have white noise playing in the background while working, shut my door, note on it not to bother me unless house is on fire, set goals for myself and treat myself with done with work and try hard not to let emails and IMs distract me. I leave all my other chores until the very last minute/second and then rush to complete and am always late and cook everything on high and burn or overdo things as always in a hurry - can't remember all of the other things I do - they have just become a part of me. I did do much better on medication and if I seriously needed again would definitely look into another one.
One day a few years back I was driving
to work (when I actually left the house to work) and I saw a man shoveling snow in his driveway, dressed like a normal man, but wearing a pair of red pumps. I almost crashed into a parked car doing a double take. He was tall and husky, built like a man, so I know it wasn't a woman. I got to work and told everyone and I don't think they believed me.
Not only that, but a few years back the USPS sm
sponsored the Tour DE France and was a MAJOR advertiser spending MILLIONS of tax payer dollars to advertise. Who the he** doesn't know who the USPS is? That ticked me off. I know: Try NOT advertising and pass some of the savings on to the consumer!!

Oh, I remember back way years earlier
when Elvis was serving in the army overseas and he met Priscilla- get this, very hush, hush now but he brought her to live with him when she was only 14 or 16 years old, just a child and he was in his 20s. She finished high school in Memphis. Heard years later she was living with his family, not what happened. Now what would that be called today? Older guy, really young girl?
I will be 40 in August and am back in school after 20 years -
I will be graduating with my associates degree in accounting in December. May go on for my 4 year, but may just do an associates in business management also. I am like you - ready to ditch the MT world.
Well, the last time I watched the show (few years back) I sm
remember Phyllis as a conniving you-know-what! I'm surprised that ya'll like her. She must have changed A LOT! I loved him with Sharon...
Years back we lived in the country, and mice

were commonplace in the old farmhouse we were renting.   One year, though, our landlord moved about 30 round bales of oats or wheat and lined them up next to the barn outside.  Apparently it wasn't a good year to sell it as grain, so he baled it to feed his cattle.  Anyway, those bales of grain really lured the rats to the property, and one got in the house.  I was shocked and horrified.  I think we got it out by using a sticky trap, which slowed it down enough so that we could corral it into a trash can and take it outside.  However, the barn cats which we had a-plenty DID NOT catch and kill these rats.  They didn't know what to do with them, I guess because they were so much bigger than the mice they were used to.   I remember watching one of the cats when he had a rat cornered, and the rat was hissing and squeaking because it was trapped, but the cat never killed it.  He just looked perplexed and a little scared himself.  I guess my point is that you can't necessarily count on a cat to solve this problem.  Good luck, though.  Mice are bad enough, but rats are downright creepy.

Unless your friend used to be a she or vice versa - sm
what's the big deal? His family has called him by one name his whole life and then they are expected to forget that name? His friends know him by a shortened version of his old name - fine.

It might not have anything to do with respect at all, just hard to do away with the first name.

Then again, he could go around and knock the snot out of everyone who calls him by his old name.

Worked for my sister! Until we moved across state when I was 9 and my sister was 11, she had been called Shelly by all of us. In our new town, she was no longer to be called Shelly but by her "real name" Michelle.

Every time I slipped, and even when I did it on purpose, she hauled off and popped me one until I didn't do it anymore.

A few years back I tried joining a ladies bowling league sm

on Tues. mornings. Worked out perfect since I'm off Tuesdays. Here's the dilemma. Most of the women (90%) were so rude to me. No matter how friendly and nice I was to them (which I am very outgoing) it just did not matter.

I'm thinking of joining it again. How does one put up with bad attitudes in this situation? Don't I have the same right as they do?? I mean, just because I'm young doesn't mean I can't be there. The bowling alley was the one who put me on the stupi*d league in the first place! I should add that my average at the time was 160 (I've been on leagues since I was 8 years old) and I am an above-average bowler. Now my average is even higher. I was constantly winning small pots due to high game (200s or more).

Why am I so afraid of going back? There were at least 75 women in the league. Most of them retired. Why do older women like that have bad attitudes? Is it the environment? Jelaousy? You'd think after all those years they'd be over that. There are no men around, so it can't be jealousy. I'm so upset and annoyed and I haven't even signed up yet! UGH!

Darn! I meant to say FORMER not fellow! I moved a few years back sm
but would LOVE to visit. My dad was stationed at Griffis AFB in Rome, outside of Utica..they moved and I stayed and attended college in Syracuse with a few friends. After a few years I finally left the area. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone in that area anymore!!! So sad....I would LOVE to take my family there one day and show them the Adirondacks, etc. I actually have step-grandparents in VT who owned a 100+ acre farm they just sold for a million dollars....Now they have a small log cabin in the mountains but they are in FL most of the year! I actually live just outside of Atlanta now....I remember being snowed in the dorms for 2 days during a bad winter storm. You are right! The snow is like NO ONE ANYWHERE can even imagine..LOL Nice to meet you!
And vice versa, just because the kids do not visit
does not mean their parents tried any and everything to raise them properly and then the kids turned out rotten. Works both ways.
I'm sorry. It's rough losing a pet. I lost my dog, Tate a couple years back. SM

He was a sheltie and he used to lay under my desk when I worked and I would rub him with my foot and he was a great foot warmer in the winter!  I used to say, he wasn't my dog, I was his person.  He got sick and then his liver failed and I had to have him put to sleep because he was suffering.  I cried for weeks!  I still haven't gotten another dog.  My kids have been begging me and they've almost wore me down, but for a long time after Taters died, I just couldn't bring myself to even think about another dog.  I compromised and got the kitty last summer.  I've never had a cat before, so I didn't know if I'd like a cat or not.  I've always been a dog lover, but I've been quite taken with my little cat.  He's ornery little guy and I love to play cat and mouse with him.

Listen to me just gush!  Sorry about that.

Religion is not the only means to spirituality or vice versa (SM)
They certainly do exist together for many people, but they do exist exclusive of each other for others. An atheist can be the most spiritual person on the block over his or her religious peers. Spirituality is a concept that is different for each person. It is what makes a person feel they are at the right place at the right time, like they are at peace, or whatever someone decides for themself is their truth.

Think outside the box!
Please allow me this vice. Implanting Brook's eggs - CRAZY!!

uh isn't he YOUR president too? LOL

had to watch soapnet to stay on top of soap operas IF we wanted to watch back then.

and isn't he your president too?  you said that like it's MY fault he's president.....I had  ZIPPO to do with it......*ROFL*

And when a Democrat is president....

Our most honorable President
I think it is a tremendous job he is doing so far. Hooray for his actions concerning the navy SEAL team. I just took a survey on CNN and it was asking how many consider what Obama said about glimmer of hope and seeing things turned around and 64 something to 40 something felt the same glimmer. I am truly glad he is there instead of what it could have been, YIKES!
Will let other share the present president...
…Now he is 1 that I will change the channels on, always something better to watch such as the cooking shows, animal shows. I knew the election outcome but after that and the flubbs, such as his war and Katrina, other folks can have him as their own. Being as I have never watched the "soaps" don’t have a clue as to what is preemptied there but I have choices here at home and I simply watch what I want to.
President Kennedy hearse
How can someone bid on the Kennedy hearse? What a wonderful world do we live in!
Yeah, out of the country since O became president.
nm
Well, I'm a taxpayer and taxpayers pay the president.

Yes, the Obamas have "other" income, whatever.  The fact remains that it falls to our prez and his family to set an example for the rest.  How can O preach fiscal responsibility as he has been and yet his family spends money so frivolously?  We are in the midst of a depression and she is wearing $500 pair of shoes!  People are being laid off and 401k's are being decimated.  Those who have retired are having to go back to work and she is wearing a $500 pair of shoes!

Do you get it now?  It's not whether the money is hers to spend, its about not practicing what you're preaching.  It's about struggling Americans trying to make ends meet and president saying "I feel your pain" when obviously he has no freaking clue what our pain is.

It's just one load of manure after another with the O admin.

Who is on the $10 bill? According to two seven year olds, it's President...(sm)

George Clooney!!  Ha!!  My daughter said it the other day, and tonight I heard her friend say the same thing.  They sat in the back seat of the car arguing with my 10-year-old that they were absolutely sure.  My son, also slightly misinformed said, "George Clooney is a comedian" to which my daughter's friend replied, "No, a comedian is someone who works with animals."  These really are pretty smart kids most of the time - but I got a huge kick out of their "facts" tonight!  HA!

Is President Bush visiting our site?
Sorry, just got me giggling.

No you wouldn't. But some women would. The PTA president last night (sm)
came up and put her hand on his knee and thanked him for offering his information about the school's sound system. Then they exchanged phone numbers. He's not a bad looking guy. So someone will want him. Not you, and not me.
Africa's 1st female president was elected in 2006.
(January of 2006)  "Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has been sworn in as Liberia's president, making her Africa's first elected female leader.

Loud cheers greeted her inauguration, with US First Lady Laura Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice among those at the ceremony.

Mrs Johnson-Sirleaf says her top challenge is to maintain peace, law and order after 14 years of civil war."

it's 5:19 pm Sunday 8/19........now you're playing with pig...*lol*

Great webcam!!!

I would say possibly a little older
I don't have a son, but I would say I would wait until he was maybe a little bit older. I don't see anything wrong with boys wearing earrings. Like I told my husband who said he'd kick my daughter out of the house if she ever got a tattoo (she's 14 now and would be too young now and doesn't want one anyway), and I told him as long as she wasn't doing drugs or being promiscious, a tattoo would be the least of our worries. By the way, to the other posters, to each his own, but I don't see why you feel the need to criticize. My old boyfriend had an earring and my almost 60 year old neighbor has one too and he is very successful. If in time he doesn't want one he can let the hole close up. What's the big deal?
sounds like it could possibly be (sm)
a memory management error which is usually hardware related.

Then where is the killer? Everyone, except possibly you and 13 other people sm
know he did it and so no one is looking for this horrific, terrible person out there - why haven't there been others in that area after they were killed?
Thanks for the idea, and possibly inspiring another one...sm
Hmm, that just might work. One tree trunk is pretty wide, but good idea for the smaller ones and for my neighbor's.  Your idea got my brain working (ow, ow) and maybe for the big tree, I will try tying a *necklace* of large garden containers--the black plastic ones.  Thanks.

The first 2 sentences belonged to someone else, possibly
hating the fact they had raised the us you speak of. Again, don’t hate what you and others really missed out on, a good time and wonderful time for growing up. Times have changed and for the worse. We had no cursing, shootings, killings, bullying in the schools, we respected the teachers, kids wore what parent could afford and no one said anything to them about their lack of name clothing, we could play outside until dark, no problem, kids not kidnappened and murdered like now, what a glorious time. I raised some really good adults, not snarky ones either.
No, now she can have up to 16 minis at one time. She can't possibly leave
them for extended periods of time. This is her business. I understand that part. And I'm sorry to have to hear from a stranger that my mom has been avoiding me for 16 years because she "really" doesn't want to. Thanks.. sign
If no recollection of trauma, possibly could be gout, although
that usually occurs in the great toe.  However, anything is possible.

I didn't think anything could possibly make me laugh
yesteday, but I had the day off and went to a movie with my friend and her granddaughter, who is my neighbor. It was (think I have this right) When Chuck married Larry . . . that's close. Anyway, I would advise anyone who needs some laughs to see it!  I found myself laughing out loud, and in light of everything right now that felt good!  Treat yourself. It's a hoot. I knew when I saw the cast it had to be good!
Updating- the ones posting about possibly end of life
for her could be right. I just had her to the Vet's this week, just to weigh because she has lost weight (thyroid problem for 1 thing). I also have heard of animals wanting to leave as they get close to end of life so I am not shocked, in fact was wondering if this was what perhaps might be going on with her. She is around 20 and was born at my home so naturally I would hate even though I have known for some time about the age limits for cats. I do not think she is in pain, just roaming all around instead of her using napping 24/7 and then the vocals, not her at all. I will continue to love and pet as much as I can between my work hrs and if she should get to where I think in pain, definitely go back to vet's with her. I really appreciate the information above. Thanks to everyone.

WOW
Don't Do IT!! Are we related? I swear
my husband and I have the same situation - except his sister is in her 40s. If they are living with him, they can take care of him. Otherwise...if they are not able to care for him, what example are they going to be for your child? What environment for you all to live in? The father made his choice, and now, sadly, he can live with it.
not telemarketer related, but someone had
Our exchange was 664 and Bambi's was 663. Every Saturday and Sunday mornings I would get phone calls from guys she had given out her number to the night before at bars. For months I would try to give them the right number, but kept getting the same phone calls. I realized she was giving MY number to the losers she didn't want to hear from.

That was when I changed my tactics. I started asking who was calling and writing down the guy names. After I got a collection of names and a guy called, I pretended to call out Bambi's name and say, "Joe is on the phone!" then tell "Joe" she was still in bed with "Frank" and would have to call him later.

About 2 months later I got a nasty call from Bambi that left me LMAO and then there were no more calls from anyone :) Karma is wonderful!

Yes but that post is more MT related. nm

It is probably food related.
Have you switched foods lately? Most gas is food related in dogs and cats. High quality can still give the toots.
