Everyone's different. I'm pretty small physically and could not deliver my first time naturally, so had C-section. The second time, I did go through vaginal delivery, however. IMO, episiotomy should be the doc's choice.

You can expect some discomfort after a vaginal delivery, but nothing I would term "pain" when walking.
