That's all I meant. To tap someone on the shoulder to shout out that he hated cats just because he saw my niece buying cat food is ridiculous, as is my friend proclaiming  over and over how she hates them and refusing to buy anything with a cat on it is over the top. Not everyone has to love them, but I was just curious as to where all the hate comes from. It seems some just do it to aggravate those of us who love them. I guess it just hurts to hear it.
