I know there were more replies, but apparently those didn't follow my post when it got moved to the Gab board.  Thank you all for your replies!
I have a Majic Chef
They certainly are a lot cheaper now than they used to be. Paid 60 for mine originally and bought one for my sister last year for $10 at a yard sale, unopened! I find I like homemade mixes better than the premix ones, although they require no measuring. You can find some awesome prices on ebay "right now". There is an Oster going in about an hour that is only at $9.95. (Item number: 250110648128. If you buy one used just make sure it has all the parts, even the little blade that mixes inside. If on ebay, they should state it is missing. I would consider buying one from ebay or a thrift store because these machines are rarely used. You really have to be into bread especially fresh bread. Most people buy them, never use them and then sell. Mine is in the closet right now but only because of limited space! I would also invest in a bread machine recipe book. Oh how fattening. So many recipies. Most machines also allow you to schedule the cook time like a coffee pot, "you just set it and forget it" (I hate that phrase). It is sure nice to wake up to the smell of fresh bread too! Rosemary, Pumpernickle and Rye..Oh my!

Thanks for reminding me about my machine!
My chef husband says
tgry either lemon juice or salt.
From above:In the end chef gets things set right again.

I have been invited to these shows and I guess they are fun a couple of times, but then you have to change the people you invite, because I just felt guilted into buying stuff from my neighbor, and she would give me some "gotta pay the bill story or husband got laid off thing," so I had to decline further invitations. I still like the stuff I bought because the quality was good, but it was a little overpriced, plus the peer pressure factor felt weird.
I know! I was surprised it was Jeffrey too....and what about Top Chef?!!? ; )
Hooked on that too!
Have Bose, he is a chef by trade and
the first year we were married got all kinds of different beers for him, he loved that. Could do that but seems redundant.
Chef Mickey's is the best! Call now for reservations
I think it cost about 90 for my husband, three kids and me, but very worth it. They take a picture of you with one of the characters while waiting in line and then you pay for it after dinner. The characters stop by your table one at a time to say hi to the kids, very cute! You just take a tram through all the hotels until you get to the Contemporary. Have fun!
Since it is the off season, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is a MUST! For us, we sm
did the brunch thing (11:00), and the food was absolutely AMAZING. If price isn't a big deal (for us, we splurged), then you must visit this place. You can have different reservation times depending on your schedule. We chose brunch, but you can do lunch, dinner. I can only recommend brunch because that is what we ate. Delicious, gourmet and non-gourmet food. They had the neatest candy bar where the kids could eat all the candy they could get their hands on. All of the characters come around the table and you take tons of pics.

But you must have a reservation for this place. You just call them. Find the number on line.

Also, I recommend Dixie Stampede.

So many I can hardly count....

Also thought about being a home chef. Poll your area first. See
