you guys gave me loads of ideas, especially the internet site for making and freezing meals.  I never know what you can and cannot freeze.  I did not realize that you could make hamburgers ahead and freeze them and then just microwave them?  How long would you microwave them for so they don't turn out like hockey pucks?

Yes, my husband is a little spoiled.  He does not like frozen meals at all!!!  So, that is basically out of the question.  Also, as far as cooking for himself -- I'd pay to see it!  NO WAY!  He has five brothers and they too would never cook anything for themselves, and they also run their own businesses, and their wives are as busy as I am.  One has five kids, does all his paperwork and stuff during the day, and the other literally gets out with shovel in hand and digs holes with her husband and does his all of his paperwork, etc..... and they are mild compared to their dad!!!  I think I married into the meathead family.

This is changing the subject quite a bit, but we have been laughing for days over something he said at our local bar last weekend.  We were talking to a younger couple who just had a baby, and my husband said that he had changed a diaper or two with our two children (now ages 33 and 27) - - I about fell off the barstool - - NEVER, EVER, EVER, NEVER did he change a diaper.  I have been teasing him all week about this.  He seriously looked at me and said, "Well, with two kids I must have changed a diaper in there once or twice."  NEVER

Also, his schedule is very weird.  With owning his own business he can plan on being home at lets say 3 pm but someone may call him, and off he goes again and I will not see him until 7 pm.  Almost everything he has to do for his business is spur of the moment things, although he does have a few set contracts that he does on a daily basis.  His business calls for a lot of equipment and he does all the mechanical work himself; so, that is quite an issue, and he may be running for parts in Chicago or southern Indiana, many miles from our home.  We definitely have weird schedules.

I personally like the Marie Calanderf meals.  Hee hee, I could probably cook them up and put them in regular casserole dishes and he would never know the difference, other than the fact that "Marie" is a better cook then I am.  I too am not a very good cook.  Maybe that is why he doesn't want to eat at home :-(.  His mom is an excellent cook, and then the poor dude married me.

I am going to check out that internet site.  One more question, can anyone think of anything that cannot be frozen?

AGAIN, THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!
