Why can't your husband make his own breakfast -- they sell all kinds of prepackaged breakfast items now, i.e. Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. Secondly, does your husband have a cell phone?  Can't he call on the nights he's going to pick up something out for supper so you don't have to make it and waste it?  Does your husband's job make it impossible to schedule which nights you'll be having supper together?

As for the other suggestions, great ideas for making stuff ahead.  Almost everything is freezable.  They also make some really great prepackaged dinners.  Keep a few in the freezer and if he tells you he's on his way home take 1 out and pop it in the micro -- he'll probably never know the difference.

Sorry, but your husband sounds more like he wants hired help than a wife.  He needs to be a little more respectful of your responsibilities and needs and appreciate you more.  It also wouldn't hurt for him to take on a few responsbilities in the kitchen as well.
