Instead of a full lunch, try healthy snacks every couple of hours. I usually have a handful of plain roasted almonds, then a little later a carton of nonfat yogurt, a banana, and maybe a handful of soy nuts. I find snacking every couple of hours like this keeps my blood sugar more balanced and cutting out the carbs helps to keep my energy up, too. I also make sure I drink plenty of bottled vitamin water while I'm working, not only for the dehydration but because having to make a trek to the ladies room every hour helps keep me awake, too.

Another good thing to try in place of one of the snacks is the Atkins Protein drinks. They have much less sugar than a SlimFast, Boost, Ensure, etc., and have a big slam of protein and low carbs. They taste good, too, without that vitamin-y aftertaste some of the other drinks have.

When all else fails, head on over to YouTube and watch a music video or two to rejuvenate those brain cells.
