I recently lost 40 pounds while I was pregnant. I kept complaining to doctor after doctor about being sick and nobody seemed very concerned. Only now that I am not pregnant and still sick does this seem to catch anyone's attention. One would think that they would take note of a 40 pound weight loss in a pregnant woman, but I am actually convinced that many doctors never even looks at those numbers. Nor do they look at charts. Every time I am in any kind of pain, they all try to prescribe the pain medicine that I am allergic to. Heaven help me if I am ever unable to respond for some reasond.
